Plumerias by the Sea (PBS) is Plumeria nursery located in North County San Diego. We are proud to offer specimen quality drought tolerant Plumeria Trees and Plants.

Established in 2005, PBS carries an inventory of 400 healthy Plumeria trees and plants started from cuttings from Hawaii, Florida and Indonesia. All of our trees are fully acclimated to Southern California.

We offer Plumeria Trees representing a wide array of possible colors and smells!

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff enjoys sharing information with other plumeria enthusiasts! Freeway close and easy to find, visitors are welcome by appointment during the months of May through November. PBS is closed during the fall and winter.

What a great selection of beautiful plumerias. I choice three awesome trees. Mike was very knowledgeable on what plumerias would be best for my house based on future size, flower color and even smell. I’m just looking for more places to put another tree.

Amazing Lei’s for my daughter’s wedding. Truly, the best Plumeria’s, the Lei’s lasted longer than I imagined and the compliments were endless!
So many varieties and sizes of plants to choose from. I have purchased plants for gifts and have two amazing «Plumeria By Sea plants on my patio. Owner very knowledgeable with valuable info on how to care for plants.

I discovered these beautiful plumerias at the Cardiff Surf Classic and it was love at first sight! They’re unique, hearty and best of all drought tolerant (who knew?). The owner Michael is very friendly, willing to take the time to explain each variety and recommend the best size/​type. He even looked up my house on Google Satellite and told me the best spots to plant, how cool is that? My GORGEOUS Samoan fluff was delivered the next day free of charge and looks amazing in my backyard!
