Custom photography specializing in women and high school senior portraiture, as well as couples, engagements, maternity and families. Wedding and newborn photography also available. Natural light, location-​based sessions are affordable and unique to each individual client.

Aimee provides a unique experience with each client, which sets her apart from other photographers in the area. Sessions include pre-​session consultation; wardrobe, location, hair/​makeup, and prop discussion; a 1 – 2 hour photography session (up to 3 with newborns), multiple wardrobe changes, and a password-​protected online gallery of professionally edited proofs. A minimum order is required.

Sessions start at $ 125. Prints, specialty products, and digital packages available. Serving Jackson, Williamson, Perry, Union, and other surrounding southern Illinois counties.

Hours vary depending on the time of year, location, and day of the week.

History

Established in 2010.

After many years of photographing family, friends, as well as my own children, I immersed myself in all things photography. After studying all the training material I could get my hands on, practicing on friends, offering complimentary sessions, and perfecting my editing skills and processing style, I decided to open a small business in 2010.

Operating on a very part-​time basis, my business has grown each year through my amazing clients and their referrals. As a result, I have grown in my focus on the types of photography I enjoy the most, and continue to focus my brand towards that market.

I strive to capture the essence, the soul of my clients: the inner and outer beauty of a curvy woman, the glow of a woman with child, the spontaneity and uniqueness of a high school senior; the unrestrained love of an engaged couple and the explosive moments of their wedding day. My goal is to have clients who fall in love with their images, and come back for the experience.

Hi, I’m Aimee — a wife and mother of two, full-​time business counselor and part-​time professional photographer. I am extremely passionate about taking elegant portraits that tell a story, and capture the beauty and personality of every client. Self-​taught in both photography and Photoshop, I have been blessed with a good eye and creative mind. I enjoy meeting new people, laughing, making clients feel comfortable and beautiful throughout their session, and providing exceptional customer service from the moment we speak until I personally deliver the final products.

My style and approach is simple: natural environment and natural beauty. I prefer real smiles to fake ones, true interaction to posed closeness, clean processing to trendy Photoshopping. Rich colors and strong black and whites are my preference, but I also enjoy a more old vintage look as well, provided it is appropriate for the image. I offer my clients a variety of enhancements to find a look and feel that suits them best.
