My future son-​in-​law hired Liz to photograph a surprise proposal on the beach in Seascape. We met her down at the beach and went over a bit of the set up. As my daughter and her boyfriend walked along the beach, Liz was ingenious in her way of capturing them while pretending to photograph other people, pets, and surf. The rest of the family hung back, laying on blankets and waited until after the proposal. We weren’t able to experience the proposal except other than what we could make out from down the beach, but Liz captured the two sweethearts emotions as he nervously knelt, spoke to my daughter, my daughters thrilled face, the tears of joy and the big smiles afterwards. It brought tears to my eyes to see the intimate and emotional photos later — reliving the wonderful morning photo by photo.
The lighting, the blue sky and white surf in the back with the tiniest details of the ring and even the little tears of joy. Liz is remarkable at recognizing and capturing special moments, the emotions, that may only last a second or two, natural and unposed. Beautiful photography and every photo looks as though we had the entire beach to ourselves!
Besides being a wonderful photographer, she’s also a lovely, soft spoken lady, beautiful herself, with a relaxed demeanor. You’ll love her.
We all have cell phone cameras and think shots with those are fine, but for a special event, professional photographers of Liz’s caliber are worth it in so many ways. The photography is SO much prettier, everyone can enjoy the event without worrying about missed moments, AND you’ll have great photos without «the missing person» — the one taking the pictures! (I realized it’s the first time in nearly a decade that we have photos of our whole family!)

Liz did the photography for our wedding in July 2010, and the photos came out beautifully. Liz was very relaxed and was a calming presence on our wedding day. She has a great eye for what makes a good photo and took photos that really brought out our personalities. I am so glad that she was able to capture so many of the special moments that happened on that day.

The fact is, our friends and family keep telling us our wedding photos are the best they’ve seen. I cant argue, and decided to update my previously glowing 4-​star review to the glowing 5-​stars that are deserved.
