History

Established in 1994.

Interior Lighting and Design has been in business since 1994 and has completed a variety of projects such as residential remodeling, new construction, lighting projects, commercial new construction and smaller office projects.

We are also a Project Management team and will consult with clients on a short term basis as well as take on full construction projects.

We are licensed Interior Designers, certified thru NCIDQ. Only certified Designers have the right to use the title: Interior Designer.

Business Owner

As a little girl, I always needed to change my room around as often as possible. Whenever there was a chance, my mom would be willing to paint the living room walls. I would offer my input as to why the colors should be the ones I chose.

I am one of those people that can walk into a home and within minutes, have it all rearranged, or repainted, or at least improve the lighting. No offense to anyone — there are plenty of homes that look perfectly ok — but where’s the fun in that!

I was born and raised in Norway. My background is in business and marketing (which has come in handy having my own business). I came to the United States in 1990 to work for a Scandinavian Furniture Company in the Bay area. The job brought back my passion for design and I soon found myself at West Valley College where I graduated with an Advanced Certificate of Interior Design.

It would be my pleasure to assist you with any Interior Design challenge.
