Everything was scrumptious! I had the works; eggs, Salmon cake, grits, home fries, French toast & bacon. Ms. Pat was super nice, attentive & very helpful. She made my first visit a very pleasant one & I will be sure to come back.

Definitely yummy! My kinda hole-​in-​the-​wall diner. Everything I’ve ever ordered was delicious. That included corned beef hash and fried fish breakfasts. That’s right fried fish for breakfast southerners. I’ve only ever ordered for breakfast but the service was always very polite and the woman who worked the counter and took my phone-​in order was kind enough to tell me that there was a special for what I’d ordered that would save me a little cash. How nice! The french toast is the best I’ve had in this area– and I absolutely love french toast! So if you’re on the fence, give it a try. Now this is no fancy schmancy place. You’re not gonna find every drink you’ve ever dreamed of in their refrigerator. But they have a pretty sizeable menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I’ve yet to be dissappointed. If you want a no-​frills delicious meal that won’t break the bank, stop in.

This is my go-​to breakfast place in Capital Heights. The owner always provides the most attentive service and the food is always mouth watering. I love the French toast platter with eggs, scrapple and grits, to die for. My friend always goes for the corned beef hash, he says he keeps having it so it’s a good sign. Don’t overlook this place!

I wish I had liked my sandwich more, but it was a little blah.
There is another location a bit further out towards the Beltway, in an out of the way strip center. This spot seems to still be working through its menu. They say they are soul food but those options seemed limited. The breakfast menu dominates most of the menu board.
I will give them another try, but for now it is a work in progress.
