OMG I’ve worked down the street from this treasure for 2 years and never knew it was there, friendly customer service and short wait for quality food. Went twice in one week, lol…

We came from out of town for a weekend event. We woke up famished and needed some really good good. We saw this place that was highly rated so decided to try it. The food was excellent. The owners were personable and very friendly. I had the sausage eggs and grits which were delicious. My cousin had the salmon cakes with home fries and loved her meal. I highly recommend and will return whenever I’m in town. Shared this information with some local friends to try as well!

Prices are good. Got 2 basic meals. They were good. Nothing to brag about but if you don’t feel like cooking then go ahead and grab something! Staff is very polite and welcoming. For my fellow footballers, the chef is a Steelers fan.

Short but oh so cavity sweet! I have been eyeing this place for a while now on Unilocal and yesterday I finally got to try it out! I have to say, I am in love with this place. When it comes to the appearance, it’s not much to look at but the vibe and food here … Well let’s just say I felt like I was back home. It was like my Auntie’s house on a Saturday morning in Georgia! Delicious food, great convo, and lots of full bellies! I ordered the French toast platter with scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, home fries, and a bottle of apple juice. Omg!!! Everything was so good, what the heck! How do they make the simplest things taste so freaking delicious?! Please note, you will have the«itis» after eating here so a Saturday or Sunday morning may be best for you to try this place out. Ha, ha! The woman at the register is so sweet too! She was nice, answered all the questions I had, & had a smile plastered on her face. This place is perfection in my eyes; a great little hole in the wall where you feel at home & welcomed every time you walk in. I can’t wait to go back & try out other items they have on their menu! Consider me a forever customer!!! :D Favs: The French toast is amazing & the cheese eggs are better than Waffle House! Would Change: Absoutely nothing!

The food here was pretty good nothing too fancy but trust me when I say it hits the spot. I came in here for some quick brunch with a friend ended up really full.

Great breakfast but they run out of things sometimes. Which only sucks when you have your tastebuds set for a particular flavor. Found this place one Sunday morning looking for breakfast with the hubby exploring the community. Definitely worth a try. The French Toast is delicious! The fried fish breakfast and salmon cakes are good too! I like the other location as well. You can call ahead, bonus! And just pick up, but I have had mixed experiences phoning in. I prefer to order in person. Lunch and dinner have also been really tasty from here. Great little diner!

Delicious! The best French toast I’ve tasted. Service could be better, but does not take away from the food. If you do not feel like cooking, come here NOTIHOP!

I found this place to be no more nicer than a local Dennys. I actually like Dennys better, but the food here was decent. The plate/amount of food size was small to average at best. My food was only warm when it was sit in front of me, but because of the long wait for just breakfast food I kept it. The customer service needs more training.

Okay… Its okay. The service was good and the people friendly. For a reasonable breakfast, its not bad. However, I’m not rushing back. My main gripe is the amount of butter used. My grits were sitting in a pool of butter. The French toast provided a nice squirt of butter in every bite. Lucky Grill is now referred too as Butter Grill.

Unilocal has succeeded yet again in helping me find a diamond in the rough! Fathers Day morning and my husband didn’t want me to cook nor did he want to sit down and have breakfast so we opted for carry out. Having grown tired of ihop and downright disgusted with the service at Steak in A Sack(I’ll never go back) I went to Unilocal and found this gem. Service was great and fast. My husband got a Belgian waffle meal, I had the French toast and our son had a ham and cheese omelette meal. Food was well priced and put us all in prime form for an afternoon nap. This will be our standard breakfast move from here out!

Mmmmm mmmmm good I had a french toast breakfast with sausage links and grits. My honey and I have been here about 4 or 5x for breakfast and are recognized by the lady that runs the counter. Can’t say how nice that is in addition to the great food and friendly service. This is not a fancy restaurant it’s a Lil café/diner with a few tables and no fancy extras. Just a great lil gem in an industrial area of Capital Heights.

Just left this great place and we will def be back!!! It was very comfortable and the customer service was perfect. My kids were accommodated because of their picky palettes and that sold me! The food was great and the spot was clean. We found our new Saturday morning breakfast spot! Thanks guys.

I gave it 4 stars only because it doesn’t have highchair for kids. I went there with my 1 year old, although they are very kid friendly. Customer service was exceptional. Food… Umm… Everything was delicious! Even my coffee was very good. I don’t ever expect my coffee to be good at a restaurant unless I am in the Dominican Republic. I am happy to have found this spot.

There are few places where the people are genuine and the food is good and feels like home. Lucky’s Grill is this type of place to me. I was greeted with a warm smile as I walked in and looked over the menu. The woman gave me her recommendations and answered any and all questions I had. Even though it was close to 2pm I ordered breakfast food(breakfast is served all day). I had the steak omelet with a side of turkey sausage. The omelet was full of steak, onions, peppers, and tomatoes with cheese on the top. The turkey sausage was a good portion for the price. But most importantly, all of the food was good. I wanted to take a picture, but I ate it all too fast. I will be back very soon. The only drawback of this fine establishment is that they are not 24 hours. But I can’t really hold that against them.

Loved the place. Small, comfortable, friendly, and the best all-American breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Don’t miss this gem in PG County. We’ll be back! PS. The hash browns are incredible. The pancakes come next time.

Greasy, buttery, homemade style and they deliver. What else do you want from a diner? Yes it’s in a strip mall in an industrial park, and yes, its the kind of place where every food option is listed on the window, all juice comes from bottles, and you leave feeling like your cholesterol should be checked. However, friendly customer service and large portions add even more to the at-home feeling. Enjoy, but don’t tell your mama

My first time coming here, and the breakfast is great, need to come back and try the lunch and dinner. They serve big portions of food and the food was tasty. I will be back soon!

The spot is a dumpy diner but don’t let that stop you. And that’s really all too it. Cheap breakfast, cheap sandwiches, all prepared by a guy who looks like he may have shot someone before. But seriously speaking, this place is cool. It’s not a date spot at all. But dammit, it’s homey.
