From scheduling my appointment almost a week ago, to having my nails done, Tenicia was professional.
I found this nail salon through Unilocal,while searching for a black-​owned business. My last manicure was over 30 years ago! Truthfully, I was turned off by the staff at other salons laughing and talking to each other in another language.
This salon was clean, bright and quiet. Tenicia is very personable, attentive, and does a great job! She’s been doing nails for almost 20 years!
My daughter and granddaughter travel to Waldorf for their manicures. I don’t think they’ll be traveling that far anymore, now that we found Tenecia right in our own neighborhood!
I will definitely enjoy my manicure now!

This place is amazing. The owner Tenecia is very accommodating and thorough. I have a weekly standing appointment with her. She is always ready to receive me and start at my appointment time. Being able to book all my future appointments on StyleSeat at my convenience is awesome. Since I have been going to Tenecia the quality of my nails overall has improved.

My actual service was very well done, and very neat. Perhaps I came on a bad day but the personable aspect of getting a pedicure wasn’t great at all, almost as if my business wasn’t wanted. If appointments are preferred you can just say that, it’s much better than a gruff greeting. Hopefully the next new client doesn’t get that same treatment because I won’t come back.

The owner did my gel nails and regular pedicure and the service was awesome! She paid attention to detail, the prices are comparable, the R&B music soothed and her conversation was just right. Please support!

This place is amazing. The owner is black which is very rare for this area and she’s a sweetheart. The shop is quiet and soothing and I love that especially after a long day at work. The last time I went was a couple months ago while I was nine months pregnant and I had a technician named Shannan. She took her time and did quality work. She was very friendly and engaged the entire time.
The only thing I wasn’t particularly fond of is the hair salon that’s connected to the shop. Sometimes they can get a little loud and the conversations can get too personal for my taste. Besides that, this nail salon is amazing.
When I get a little free time I will certainly return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this salon this afternoon. Tenecia did a beautiful job. I found her to be very personable and thorough, making sure that every nail was as close to perfect as possible. I arrived on time for my 3:00 appointment and she was actually ready to take me (unheard of!), I wanted a full set but wasn’t able to remove the acrylic from my existing set and without complaining she gently removed it by both lifting the acrylic and soaking it off.
I also got a pedicure, again she took her time and made sure that all the T’s were crossed and I’s were dotted. I wanted a French manicure on my nails and toes and she was able to apply the White polish in one foul swoop and without all the mess of the clean up. She’s a true artist who has perfected her craft. With reasonable prices, great service, quality work and a nice person to talk to what more could I ask for?
I made my next appointment while I was there because I didn’t want to miss her when it’s time for a fill in. I have found my new salon home! LOVE IT!

Ugh! I struggled with posting this review because I love finding great And convenient places and keeping them to my selfish self BUT Tenecia is dope so I figured I would spread the word.
My family just relocated to the area and I was in desperate need of a nail salon after a hellish weekend of packing and unpacking. Went to trusty Unilocal to find a salon in the area and found this fantastic gem. Called and spoke with Tenecia and was able to make an appointment for the very next day.
Walked in and she was ready for me which was great because I hate making appointments and being kept waiting. I sat down and she immediately got to work. She is quick, gentle and very thorough. She also cautioned me against a very bad habit I have (biting my nail skin/​cuticles) and gave me tips on how to heal them fast which I attribute to her professionalism and knowing her craft.
Lastly I appreciated that she has a TV mounted and I was put on to a new show that was playing for my next Netflix overload! I’m definitely happy with her work and I’ve already scheduled my next appointment.

I am in love with my nails! This is the 1^st time my nails are perfect the way I like them!
Tenicia’s work is worth every penny and then some, she takes her time making sure every nail is perfect, she files each nail by hand and not with a drill like other places (that bought me over, and now I’m not going anywhere else)
The location is a bit difficult to find if your not from the area like me. But the salon is clean, quite and beautiful! Next time I will make sure to make an appointment so I can get my pedicure done as well.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Tenecia is not only the nail technician, but the owner. She was very polite and professional and took great care in doing my nails and eyebrows. I will be coming back to her. Her shop is quiet and serene and her prices are more than fair.

I love this place! I was searching somewhere to get my nails done after work, and I found this lovely place! It’s tucked away nicely. The atmosphere is relaxing, and very nice. I came in on a Thursday around 4:30, and was greeted by Tenicia (the owner). I wanted a full set since it has been years since I had long nails, and wanted to switch things up ;-).
I immediately felt very comfortable with Tenicia, and we talked a lot. She has a great personality! She does all of the filing by hand, rather than the drill that is used in most nail salons. I love that! The drill usually hurts the sides of my nails as they make contact with my skin: side eye: so I was very impressed and glad I didn’t have to deal with that!
I loved the way my nails came out! I work with my hands, and I didn’t break a single one for the whole two weeks (which is a miracle for me)! I made an appointment and went back two weeks later for a fill in. For my second time around, we changed the shape of my nails from traditional square to almond, which I am in love with!
Definitely make an appointment, she’s amazing!

Beautiful job. The technician was very professional and sweet. My gel nail manicure and pedicure are perfect. I had a little trouble finding the place but that was my fault really. The salon is spotless and the massage chair for the pedicure was so comfortable. Wish I was in town more often, I would’ve been a regular. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

I have never written a review for anything. with that being said this place is great and Shannan is AMAZING! Love this salon they are extremely clean and she took her time making sure my nails were perfect! I never get pedicures b/​c I’m a germophobe and have heard horror stories about other places. but this place gets an A++ in cleanliness and attention to detail!

Clean clean clean and they’re conscientious about the amount of product and they use. My feet aren’t slipping and sliding in my flip flops when I leave. They use new tools for each person. Great prices and great ambiance. My gel mani/​spa pedi was $ 55. It’s in the neighborhood and she takes her time! I’d gladly pay a bit more to have someone carefully do my nails. I think the prices are reasonable. My cuticles are thin and she didn’t cut me, which happens a lot. And when it does, I cross that spot off my list. I can see myself coming here often. I picked up some lunch from Everlasting Life and took my behind home! I’m pleased as punch.

This place was beyond expectation. I got a manicure and a pedicure and the owner did my nails. She was very meticulous and took her time and my nails came out perfectly! Definitely returning here and going here for my nails from now on. This place by far is the best in the area.

I visited Nail Salon and Spa for the first time EVER and was AMAZED by the professional results of my gel manicure and eyebrow wax. I arrived a little early but the manicurist started with me on time and I felt pampered and I loved every moment of my appointment. I would highly recommend making an appointment in order to be seen sooner as opposed to walking in although they do accept walk ins. I also received an eyebrow wax and I felt like a movie star by the time I saw the results. I made it very clear that I will be returning. Very very happy customer.

Divine Inspirations is the new name even though Unilocal hasn’t made this change, and it has been two years. Yes two years. I love this place. It is quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The service provided by Tenecia (the owner) is amazing. I would suggest you make an appointment as she is the only nail tech and my mani and pedi took 1 hour and a half. I paid $ 30, and spent my money with someone who values my business and doesn’t see me as just another black face not worthy of speaking English while providing a service that she (the black face is paying for). There was not quick 2-​minute faux massage given by the Asians. I felt like I was floating into another world as I was truly pampered. This is the place to spend your money. Clean, professional, knowledgeable of the art of everything nails.

Quality work! Love this salon. The owner is very sweet. I used to drive to Arlington, VA to get my nails done but no need to now. Gel mani last 2+ weeks.
