Excellent customer service and great owners ! But unfortunately the food is very inconsistent with the flavor, every time we go is different. Sometimes is just terrible and sometimes is good ! We will never go back again — we rather drive to Bonita to Bella Colombia restaurant, is well worth the drive — excellent food consistent flavor, amazing customer service — the owners and all the staff is incredible nice — i suggest for Don Perro owners to make a recipe for every dish so every time they change cooks the food will taste the same —

I have come twice and I absolutely will be coming back. I love the authentic Puerto Rican food. Taste homemade. This is the perfect place for my husband and I as he is Columbian and I am puertorican so we can enjoy the best of both worlds here.

Awesome food, awesome service, awesome place! We’re from Chicago and wanted some authentic food and this place definitely hit the spot. I tried the Bandeja Paisa and it was delicious! The meat was nice and juicy and tender. One of the best bandeja paisas I’ve had in a while!

Here visiting for the first time. Been 12 yrs since we live in south Florida. Wife been missing Colombian food. She found this place. And we are both glad she did. Started lunch off with empanadas. Banging!!! Salsa hit the spot. Flavorful without heat. Empanadas were stuffed with great mixture filling. The main plate was Bandeja paisa. Must be shared! Huge plate. But it gives you all the tastes.

We were passing through Cape Coral and noticed this restaurant along the way. We are always on the lookout for authentic Puerto Rican food so we made a quick u-turn so we could have lunch here. We enjoyed meeting the owner and spending time chatting with him about Puerto Rico. Very friendly and attentive service! Ambience is very authentic — felt like we were in PR. Portions are substantial. After sharing the HUGE alcapurria(soooo good!!) and two bacalaitos(loaded with bacalao) we decided to share one of the two pernil dishes we ordered(glad to take the second order home to enjoy later). The pernil was tender, the pastel was cooked well and the arroz con gandules was excellent. We didn’t have the opportunity to try any of the Colombian dishes today — perhaps on a return visit. ¡Buen Provecho!
