Lakehouse Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I were looking at the last minute for a romantic getaway from Austin, and happened to find a the Lakehouse B &B. We couldn’t of had a better time. Waking up each morning to the picturesque view of canyon lake, and going to bed each night with the sunset was incredible. The accommodations were well appointed and each of the casual breakfasts were excellent. The owners were friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay as great as it was. In fact, I had purchased the anniversary package which included a dozen roses. When the owners realized that the roses had wilted after the first night, they had them replaced with a fresh batch. Now that is service. Even thought the lake was right there, we decided to spend all of our time in the B&B lounging about the pool area, reading, ruminating, eating and drinking the day away. There is an incredible Italian Restaurant nearby. We decided to beat the crowd, by getting it to go and eating on the veranda outside of the room watching the sun go down. Its an incredible little find in the heart of the Hill country. If not for the Texas heat, you wouldn’t even think you were in America. Thumbs way up.

This B&B was a very nice surprise for this area! We stayed in the Mediterranean Suite, which was roomy, clean, and tastefully decorated with a lovely terrace overlooking Canyon Lake. The room included light snacks and a small refrigerator stocked with free sodas. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The bathroom featured a jetted tub and shower.
The tasty, casual breakfast included coffee, fresh OJ, Strawberries Romanoff, and a Belgian Waffle with a side of pecan-​crusted bacon.
The proprietor was also friendly and helpful. I would recommend Lakehouse B&B to friends without hesitation. Perfect for Austinites seeking a quick getaway.

What a wonderful experience my wife and I had here… Justin, the inn keeper is awesome! His attention to detail, really show ho much he cares about his guests. I recommend this b&b to anyone who loves to be service and comfort!

I cannot imagine a bed and breakfast experience that could surpass what we had at the Lakehouse B&B. My husband and I are from the Austin area and wanted to take a long weekend trip for our 1 year anniversary. My husband booked a room at the Lakehouse B&B and I am so happy he did!
We were greeted by the innkeeper, Justin, who is just the right balance of «friendly» and «respectful». He was incredibly fun to talk to, but definitely knew when to let us go on our way. Justin generally stays around the property during the day and waters the plants, cleans, etc. so he is never far if you need anything. Oh, and if you can’t find him on the property, he lives just down the street, so he can be there pretty quickly! Justin also cooked all of our meals in the morning. And what an AMAZING cook he IS! I’m not usually a «breakfast eater» and generally sustain myself on exorbitant amounts of coffee. However, one whiff of Justin’s cooking and I knew that I couldn’t say no!
Justin was also very knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for dinners, lunches, relaxing drives, wineries, excursions (go check out the natural bridge caverns while you are there — simply breathtaking!). Oh, and the rooms at the B&B are incredibly nice. We stayed in the Mediterranean room and had a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom! That definitely came in handy :)
All in all, we had an exceptional 1 year anniversary (thanks to Justin and the Lakehouse B&B). I would recommend this place to anyone!
