Mint Condition Painting

I found Mint Condition on Unilocal because we needed to paint the exterior of our home. After several estimates they came in right in the middle. I called them in Jan 2016 and gave them the job, boy am I glad I chose them to paint my home. The crew are all very professional and kept everything clean. My home looks Awesome. Thank you Guys for such an outstanding job.

They painted my home in 5 business days. Pressure washed, caulked, scraped, primered. Even repaired any cracks or damage in the stucco. It would have taken me forever to do it myself. My home is a 2 story house, which makes it harder. They even used Dunn Edwards top of the line paint. The crew asked all the right questions. I chose them because of their long history, and reputation. I walked around my home after they were done a few times. Couldn’t find anything wrong so there was no need for them to come back out, for any touch ups. Their prices are also reasonable, so it was a no-​brainer.

We found mint conditioning on Unilocal last month after my son bought a house and we were looking to get the interior painted. We gave Jon a call and he came out within a few days to give us a quote on the house. Jon was very easy to talk to with, had a great personality, and was very easy to connect with. We were not sure on what color to go with for the house, so Jon gave us some recommendations. Jon even made an appointment with my son and I to talk about what he thought would be best, and to go over some paint ideas (i.e. painting the cupboards a different color, painting the staircase a different color to act as an accent wall, painting accent wall though out the house, ext.). Jon made this after 6 pm to ensure that my son did not have to talk off any work.
Jon and his paint team were excellent. His paint team was very reliable, neat and clean. They laid down paper, cloths, and tapped everything off before they started painting. The crew was also very friendly. They patched all the old holes in the walls, and his patchwork was great. You cannot even tell where the holes in the walls were.
Jon and his crew went went way beyond our expectations. They not only painted the entire house in a week, but they helped switch out all the old can lighting on the celling (that were way to tall for us to replace), as well as any burnt out lights that they found along the way.
Jon had a walk though with us when the crew was just about done to make sure we were happy with everything.
I would recommend Jon and his crew to anyone. They did a fabulous job, and we could not be happier about they way the house turned out

Baffled by the lack of professionalism this business bestows. If you want authentic work and authentic people to welcome into your private living space and will respect you and your home… I would not recommend this business… Results will be discriminatory in many levels… this business was simply just a big waist of my time! BEWARE!!! THEY DON’T EVEN DESERVE A STAR!!! CONTRACT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Mint is not near the results of the conditions I experienced!!!

Mint Condition painted the exterior of my house last week. Wow, it has never looked this good! I found this company to be great to work with. The prep work was extremely thorough, the crew friendly and competent, and the end result is excellent.

I used Mint Condition to repaint two bedrooms and they did an excellent job. They were timely, quick and cleaned up after themselves. Plan to use Mint Condition in two to three years when I need the entire entire repainted.

We found Mint Condition Painting on Unilocal after buying a house 2 months ago. At some point someone had painted the ceilings the same color as the walls throughout and had pulled out screws, bolts and nails when they moved out, leaving the drywall in crummy shape — plus which it had really high ceilings in places — plus which we hated the yellowish-​peach color. We had never used a professional paint company before and this was a really good experience for sure. I actually really love to paint but painting this whole interior would’ve been way out of our range of skill and taken weeks to finish.
Jon Green came out for a quote –he is extremely nice and easy to talk to –very attentive to detail –had many references + pictures of previous work his company had done and gave us a written quote before leaving. We emailed a couple of days later to ask about moving forward with this company, thinking it might be a couple of weeks before we could get onto the schedule. It worked out really well that he could get us onto the schedule almost immediately — that isn’t usually the case and this was great because the house was empty at the time and this made it way easier for the paint team.
Jon and the team were extremely patient with color choices even though we were using white ceilings and just one or maybe two colors for the walls throughout — then again with only one color and maybe an accent wall, it was even more important for us to get it right. He got samples for us to put in different places in the rooms at different times of the day, then we rolled the color we thought would be best onto the walls in different places to be sure. They didn’t rush us, gave advice and steered us away from some bad choices and were so nice about the whole process even though they had used this color probably countless times before and knew it was exactly what we had described that we wanted.
We ended up with Dunn Edwards Miner’s Dust throughout the whole house — no alternate wall colors at all. It’s light grey with a really slight brown undertone and it looks amazing in all different kinds of light at all different times of the day. Different walls look a bit different even in the same room depending on how the light hits — this is a good thing for us. And, Jon recommended a velvet finish on all of the walls where painters usually use flat paint and this was a really good choice for us too. The velvet paint has a nice soft sheen to it, not as shiny as semigloss in bathrooms — it looks great, is supposed to (and I think it will) look newer for longer and is way more easy to care for than a flat paint.
About our paint team– Fred, Gama and Jose have worked together for something like 10 or 13 years. They were experienced, friendly, clean, fast and organized. They showed up on time when they said they would be there and worked almost nonstop. They got rid of glue and retextured walls where huge mirror sheets had been removed, replaced drywall and retextured the kitchen ceiling where a previous repair was super obvious. Jose even thought to spray paint the rings for the recessed ceiling lights that had gotten discolored with age so they wouldn’t stand out against the new clean white ceilings when they were reinstalled — saved us money for sure not buying 23 new rings.
It is surreal that they painted this whole house in a week — doors, trim, stair spindles, baseboards, high walls and ceilings with really tall ladders. The paint looks fantastic-​both the color as well as the quality of the work. And these guys were just as friendly, clean and careful when they returned (9 days after they finished) to paint the baseboards that they had to skip when we decided to switch out the carpet upstairs for hardwood floors after they had already started painting. They wore booties to protect the new floors, filled/​caulked and painted the baseboards in a single day and couldn’t have been nicer about having to return.
This company lays down paper and/​or plastic and tapes everything to protect things before starting to work. I feel awful that we could’ve saved them some work if we had known they didn’t need to protect the carpet — hindsight is better for sure. They protected carpet that we thought we would be keeping and then decided not to keep — they also painted baseboards in both bathrooms upstairs because we didn’t know the flooring installers were going to throw in the bathroom baseboards as a bonus– so then had to paint them again after the new ones were laid in. I know they were honestly shaking their heads at several points because obviously the order of things could’ve been better but they were just so nice to me about everything.
This new paint really makes this feel like a new house. We have a rough quote from Jon for exterior paint/​outside of house too –would work with Mint Condition again in a second once we see our way clear of all of the moving/​renovation expenses we’ve incurred so far. THANKS SO MUCH to you guys for everything!

Jon and his crew were exceptional! I had a very large 2.5 week job that involved painting every room in my brand new-​construction house of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. They painted every room in the house, which included some customized two-​tone and striped painting, with chair rails, and stripes, etc. In addition, they installed crown moulding and baseboards in every room in the house, and even customized the crown moulding to mess with my kitchen cabinet moulding and bar cabinets. They did an excellent job, were very professional, extremely courteous and nice, and did a great job of cleanup everyday. They were always on time, and worked 2 Saturday’s in a row to finish early. I can’t say enough about how great a job they did. I highly recommend them and refer them to my friends and family for painting, baseboards, and crown moulding.

These guys do an amazing job! Jon Jr. came out to give me pricing to do some work on the house. They priced out the complete exterior plus the interior stair railing, treads and risers, some upstairs doors, and some cabinetry. Even though I was a little late at calling them, they worked around my schedule and bent over backwards to make sure the interior work was done before spring break was over (when my family was coming back). After that they moved right to the exterior of the house. Within two weeks they had done all the work we discussed (interior and exterior) plus some additional items I added. Jon Jr. made it a point to come out to the house every day. Even on the Saturdays that his guys worked. Do not hesitate to call and use these guys for all of your painting needs. They really did a great job!

Mint Condition was was referred to me by a friend after having four other quotes done by supposed professionals, three of which didn’t even show up with a pen and paper to give me an estimate. John showed up when he said he would — walked the perimeter and actually measured the house and gave me a reasonable estimate; not only on cost, but the time it would take to complete the job. His crew showed up on time every day, fixed all of the wood damage, repaired all the cracks, cleaned up at at the end of each day, and showed me alternative color combinations that might look better than the ones I chose. Their professionalism and attention to detail is bar none I couldn’t be more happy!!!

Mint Condition did such great work on a really tough job, they are the only company I’ll consider for my next painting need.
I recently had recessed lights installed, with many patches in the drywall that needed fixing, along with damage from a water leak on a vaulted ceiling. Mint patched them all perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure all the new paint matched the existing paint.

Mint Condition Painting is phenomenal!!! I have used Jon for all my painting needs at my previous home and they just completing the interior of my new home purchase. Once again the work was superior. You’ll never need to consider another painting company after working with Mint Condition.
We first hired Mint Condition Painting to paint our entire interior when we purchased the home in 2012. They did a phenomenal job for a fair price — this included painting walls, wooden cabinets, wainscoting, and removal of an old built-​in bookcase. Since then, we’ve hired them for several other projects, including patching up holes in the ceiling from previous electrical work and water damage. The entire team is professional and courteous. They have a meticulous attention to detail (CLEAN lines!) and take pains to protect your floors, furniture, etc and clean up afterwards. Can’t recommend them enough!

I really miss John and his team I moved to Atlanta and hired painters to do the whole house and the attention to detail is just not the same as Mint Condition painters! Those guys can paint amazing straight lines against trim freehand!
John’s team did our garage walls, trim, doors and epoxy floor and it was a huge selling point on our house. I can’t recommend these guys enough! Wish they were in Atlanta!

Had work previously done by another painter who did not want to finish what he started. John sent a guy over and knocked out my whole list in one day!
