Probably the best bbq I’ve had in Georgia and certainly the best value with the Tuesday night all you can eat for $ 7. Wow. Unbelievable. And their Cole slaw is legitimate homemade stuff, not overly sugary or excessively creamy. I will visit this brand of restaurant any chance I get, and would go well out of my way to do so.

I have been here twice. I got the pulled pork sandwich the first time and a full rack of baby back ribs the second time. Both were very good. Great service. I had a really nice waitress named«Meagan». I really like this place. I would suggest you try this place. I am a fan. My wife had the brisket and she loved it. We will definitely be back. You will not see the brisket on the menu, just ask your waitress if they have it.

Just moved to Atlanta area and happy to back in the land of great BBQ. Had ribs and pulled chicken, cornbread, slaw and potato salad. Friend had Brunswick Stew which she said was delicious. Our food was also tasty with generous portions. Server was so friendly and we were served quickly. Excellent sauce that I discovered is sold in Target. Bought a bottle to take home. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Have gone past this place several times and it’s always packed, so decided to stop in with a colleague. It’s your standard affair BBQ place, servers and managers friendly, open concept, desert display of pecan pies, lemon meringue pies. The wait was only 5 mins at 6pm, which was great. We ordered the baby backed ribs, pulled pork platter and hush puppies. Chose the steak fries and BBQ baked beans. The ribs were really good and juicy. The pulled pork was good but not outstanding with a few tough pieces. The sauces were really tasty with a kick to them. The beans were just normal beans with some pork in them and the fries were obviously frozen affair and just okay. Everything was good but nothing really stood out except for the ribs and sauce. Would come back if in area

The smell of the BBQ is quite nice all the way to the parking lot. Wait staff is helpful and they do an awesome business. Unfortunately it is not really my style. Nothing really bad to say. Was okay. Nothing special. Great if you have a large appetite, portions are large!

Visiting a friend in Georgia and I love BBQ, so we decided to come here. Inside its dark and all wood(I liked it) the staff is friendly. I couldn’t help but notice the dessert case as I walked in. All the pies looks amazing. I ordered the beef brisket with sides of Mac and cheese and Brunswick stew. My meal also came with 2 slices of garlic bread. My food was delicious! Their BBQ sauce is awesome. I ended up buying a bottle to take home. I asked the waitress if the pies were homemade, and they are! I had to order a piece of coconut cream pie. The pie was the best I’ve ever had. If I lived in the area, I would have taken a piece of pie to go. I wish this place was down home in South Florida. If I lived in Georgia, I’d frequent this place a lot!

We were in Canton and decided to stop here for dinner. The décor was interesting and kind of western-looking. The food was quite average unfortunately and we probably won’t be back.

One of my favorite places to eat in Canton. Service is awesome. Love their stew. Good cones fairly quick once order is placed. Go for lunch it’s more affordable.

I had a pulled pork sandwich that was the best of all the others I’ve had in the state. Great ambiance as well.

The food was tasty, but wasn’t hot. My half chicken and onion rings were both warmish, but not hot. My spouse’s meal was equally lacking in temperature. Despite the free pie slice offered as an apology, we likely won’t return unless we see a big change online. I don’t expect cold food at a BBQ restaurant.

Place was clean, fast service and nice staff, wife and I ordered combo platters sides were a but small but you get a lot for a main entrée. That being said the pulled beef was moist and tender the pork was a bit dry and the chicken was ok. I’d come back again if I was in the area

Not sure about the hype. The Brunswick stew tasted like their BBQ sauce with corn mixed in it. The pulled pork was good! Service fast and pleasant.

Maybe it’s just me, or the fact I am picky when it comes to BBQ restaurants, but I don’t see what the hype around this place is about. The BBQ is dry, I don’t think they put water pans with the meat when they smoke it, or not enough water if they do(just my opinion, not fact). Sometimes you can tell they add too much wood to the smokers, and you can definitely taste it. The sides are pretty good, but I could make better mashed potatoes with gravy, or mac ‘n cheese at home to be honest. Atmosphere is fine, no issues there, and the staff are generally nice. Service is fast, never had an issue with that either.

IFYOULIKEITSMOKY! This Barbecue can usually be found at every single festival. They always have a large smoker with smells that draw you in for those free samples. Now, while I love the samples and can admit that the chicken and ribs are delicious, I cannot bring myself to spend $ 12 for«three bones». The fact that they make it explicitly clear that you are getting bones, just doesn’t sit well with me. This may not be a big deal for someone who eats restaurant ribs on a regular basis, but I make my own ribs and I pay less than $ 12 for a full slab of fresh, meaty, delicious ribs. When I lived in other states,(southern and midwestern), there were little mom and pop rib joints everywhere. When you ask for barbecue that means ribs, not chicken and not the dreaded pull pork sandwich. If you ask for a barbecue sandwich, you will get two slices of white bread with your ribs. That’s what I envision when I think of ribs. That to me is a great memory and I miss it! While I am a fan of the food, I am not a fan of the prices, hence the three stars!

This is the first barbecue joint we’ve tried since moving to Georgia. I’m from Alabama, and I’m used to the Gibson dynasty of Huntsville/Decatur, so the barbecue potato is the litmus test for me and my wife(a Connecticut native who learned of bbq when she moved to Bama after we got married!), so this Carolina approach was somewhat new to me. A few issues affecting the star rating: 1.) I’m not a fan of meat covered in sauce. If you know how to barbecue, it means that you brine and marinate and baste if necessary low and slow. The flavor should be in the meat, not covering up mediocre or dry meat in the sauce. If you must rely on a sauce, I will always be partial to a white sauce(if you don’t know what this means, get thee to Big Bob Gibson’s on highway 31 in Decatur, Alabama! You will thank me later!) 2.) The server recommended pork for the potato. My wife likes pork least, but she likes to go with server recommendations on the faith that they’ve tried most things and have an educated guess. I told her to go with chicken, but she listened to the server. It was good, but nothing special, so when my bbq chicken ended up being the only meat that kept its juices and flavors 3.) The sweet tea barely counts as sweet tea. I thought it was unsweet at first, but the tea flavor was actually pretty good, so I let it go. Later, the waitress checked whether I wanted more sweet tea and it tasted the same. This is a plus for my wife who can tolerate 50⁄50 sweet/unsweet at best. I’m still deciding my take on it. 4.) The seating/waiting area took up an absurd amount of space. It seems there could have been more tables had there been less of a desire to look like an uppity hunting lodge. I like hole in the wall bbq joints, so that’s likely just personal to me. 5.) Fried okra was in huge pieces. Just FYI in case you are like me and hate slimy okra. To get it crispy you have to thin slice it and dredge in corn meal and seasonings. 6.) The pie was great! The others might have taken this down to three stars, to be honest. It was better than Shane’s chain, but only barely. The pie, however, was delicious and worthy of a star on its own. We’ll check around for any better, smaller places closer to our house, but I could see going back here for the chicken and pie at least. I’m excited to try their brunswick stew, but did’t have time/room to do so on this first exploratory visit!

We visited Williamson Bros in Canton the other night for dinner and the first thing that hits you is the amazing smoke smell in the air from the smokers where they are smoking their meat. It reminds you of being in the mountains and is just awesome. We walked in and the décor was really dark and hunter lodge type feel. You felt like you were in a good ol down home BBQ place. I ordered the full rack of rib with Mac-N-Cheese and baked beans. The ribs were HUGE. Larger than any other bbq place I’d been. I could only finish ½ of it. They were super meaty, very flavorful and the sauce was on point. I also want to point out that of all the BBQ ribs we’ve tried so far Williamson Bros was the ONLY place that removed the membrane on the back as it should be done. The mac-n-cheese was very good but I wasn’t a fan of the baked beans. Husband got the chicken with cheese, mushrooms & onion/peppers and he said it had a really good smoked flavor. The reason we’re giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because they don’t serve brisket. We’ve never been to a BBQ place and they don’t serve sliced brisket. Other than that the food was really good and we’d definitely go back. I smoke meat myself and so far since living in GA coming on 2 months we give best brisket to JDBBQ and best ribs to Williamson Bros…

Amazing bbq. Living in memphis, bbq is something I know well and this place is the closest to memphis bbq I have ever tasted. The sauces are amazing. Favorite is the sweet and spicy. Service at this restaurant was top of the line. I would suggest getting the pork bbq sandwich with slaw. Really impressed with everything here.

We were in the area for a basketball tournament and had already been to the Subway down the street, so we pulled into Williamson Bros. to eat. A solid four stars for the food. The prices are what you’d expect in downtown ATL. So a star off for that. The sides were good(see pic), although they weren’t very large. You’ll get a decent portion of meat and I didn’t leave hungry… but the bill was still more than enough to dissuade me from returning. Nice place inside and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly. As Unilocal says, three stars is «A-OK,» which is what I said when we left.
