Today was my first time at Shampooch, what a great, convenient place to wash your pet. It is very clean and I was politely greeted and helped by a gal on staff who was terrific. She clearly explained how everything worked and was available for help or questions. My dog was comfortable with a large tub that gave him plenty of room. All the tools and shampoos, etc., are there for your use… I did bring my own shampoo and towels from home because I’m a bit particular. The price was reasonable as well; $ 16 for my 35lb. bundle of fur.
Now that I have discovered this place, I’ll be sparing my dog the trauma of a professional groomer as much as possible.

We took our dog to have him washed and brushed out while we did a few errands. We left specific directions with the groomers to NOT cut the dogs fur, simply to cut out the mats in his upper leg fur, brush out his undercoat, and wash him. The dog is a corgi-sheltie mix and gets very itchy when he starts shedding. We came back to a fully trimmed dog, who was shedding worse than when we dropped him off. chest, butt, and tail had all been trimmed down drastically. They clearly did not brush him as we brushed out huge clumps of fir when we got him back home. Never again would I take a dog here nor would I recommend to anyone.

I went in there for the first time and left totally satisfied. The idea of this place is genius. I have a German Shepard for $ 18 I was fully satisfied with the self serve dog wash. They provided EVERYTHING I could’ve needed. And those blow dryers are powerful. The manager there was very friendly and my dog even left there with a pretty new purple bandana.

Our large Bouvier puppy sometimes needs baths between grooming, especially after being at Daycare. Shampooch made it so easy to get her cleaned up and smelling fresh! She trotted right up the steps into the tub, and we shampooed, conditioned and blew dried her with the perfect temp water and products — loved the nubby scrubbers! Just a really pleasant experience overall.

I love this place especially for the my 75lb puppy (which i mean big dog). The grooming business charges by the weight of your dog which my dog cost $ 18 out the door. They also have reward cards as well — you show up so many times, then you get a FREE wash on them.
The provide everything that you need.
4 star only because of the distance i have to travel and wishes clipper rental was a little cheaper as well.

Great concept. For the in between times when it’s too cold for the hose or your dog just needs a bath and not the expense of a groomer this place is perfect. Love the steps up to the tall tubs, the use of their aprons and dryers. For a better experience bring your own shampoo (theirs is watered down a LOT, but the conditioner there is ok). Would give it more stars if the staff was friendlier and the place was cleaner, but hey. It’s a place to wash your dog!

This is a great idea. Do-it-yourself dog wash where they supply all the stuff, you just bring the dog. It’s always clean, the shampoos are good and the staff is very helpful if you need it. They gave me tips on how to trim my dog’s toenails. I like that the tubs have steps so you don’t have to lift your dog in or out of the tub or bend down to wash the dog.
