I had a IMac and MacBook to transfer data from the hard drives to a Mac mini. I specifically told the woman the IMac does not start/​boot up and they will likely have to take out the hard drive and transfer via FireWire. The quoted me price and 3 days to complete.
At the end of day 2, a guy calls and says the iMac will not boot up. I told them I know, and specifically told them on the instructions that is not the case. I could transfer everything myself if they all worked. He says it will take much longer and will cost much more. He was still unsure if he could do it. I told him, just use a FireWire and it’ll be quick. He still seemed confused and unsure how to go forward.
I just told them I’ll just pick my equipment up. They were extremely rude when I arrived.
No customer service or IT knowledge.
