Mann Mark J DDS

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mann’s office for close to 30 years. I could stop with this emphatic endoursement, but I won’t.
He and his staff are always delightful, personal, warm, and professional. He and his staff always have great stories to share, and they make you feel as close friends. His stories of travel, their children, and his sports are the most entertaining while I’m in his care.
During my younger days, Dr. Mann was the first doctor to help me work with my syncope condition, and gave me great advice on how to manage it, that I carried with me everywhere. I have always appreciated his patience with me, and the extra time it takes to manage my condition.

Dr. Mann is a decent, friendly dentist, but one of his hygienists (I believe her name was Katie or Heidi.) is careless… (They have 2 blondes… She is the older one, not the young one.)
I had an appointment this past Thursday for a simple cleaning. She was using the hooked pick to scrape the back of my frontal, superior incisors and she punctured the palate of my mouth with it. She was scraping very quickly and carelessly.
I, obviously, was in pain and said, «Fucking bitch,» because of the pain. She said, «That’s not nice.» I told her she punctured my palate. What angered me even more is that she then LIED. She said that the blood was coming from my gums… so again, I told her that she punctured my palate. Everyone knows when something goes through and punctures the roof of their mouth. She then put a small piece of gauze on the roof of my mouth where she had punctured… not my «gums!» The worst thing of all is that she DID NOT APOLOGIZE and NEVER TOLD THE DENTIST WHEN HE CAME OVER TO SEE ME, since she did not want to be embarrassed and admit that she messed up. NO INTEGRITY!!!
I told both of the secretaries… not sure if they told Dr. Mann. I left a voicemail for them on Friday too. (They’re closed on Fridays.) Hopefully, he hears it and calls me as I asked. I need him to look at my palate to see if there is any sign of infection accumulating.
The dentist is fine… nothing wrong on his part… but do NOT allow Katie/​Heidi, whatever her name is, to work on your mouth!!!
