My boyfriend and I love to try new restaurants, but this was just a huge let down. The sushi was dry, and looked and tasted as if it had been sitting there all day. The desserts came out of containers from a grocery store, and they couldn’t even be bothered to at least remove the containers from the bar. The muscles were drenched in so much hot sauce, you couldn’t even try and eat them. The hot food was mediocre at best. Some of the choices were mozzarella sticks, Chinese donuts, fried frog legs, something called hibachi chicken, etc. the only thing I favored from the hot food bar was sautéed green beans and the sautéed potatoes. The hibachi chef did a decent job. The steak I had prepared was tough, dry, and just wasn’t prepared well. Luckily the«hibachi sauce» masked most of the taste. My boyfriend and I are very critical, but for good reason. We try lots of different restaurants, and we have found our favorite spots and some of the worst. This has to be the saddest excuse for an oriental buffet I’ve ever visited. And these kinds of places are my boyfriends favorite whenever we can catch a good one. Maybe it was just a slow, bad night for them but regardless. It was no good. And we will probably not be returning. Sad because it is so close to our home.

Food is what you’d expect at most Chinese buffets. Nothing spectacular. However, going there close to closing time was a huge mistake! The chef was cooking something for the staff that smelled like roadkill! No disrespect to other cultures but I became nauseous after that meal! Don’t think I could eat there again…

Eaten here twice, the first time for lunch was OK, the second pretty rough. I will say, it is clean, the staff is nice, the food is hot. But unless you want to feel like you ate straight grease for lunch, I would say you will walk away unhappy. I ventured the sushi on the second visit, and just being honest, it was terrible. Everything fried is edible, but you will pay for it later. I hate it, they seem like nice people that care, but I can’t do that food again. I love Chinese/Japanese food, going to have to keep the search up in Cherokee county.

All I can say is nope. I really wanted to like this place. Really, I did. The inside is nice, comfy booths but that’s about as high as I can go with this place. We went at 7 on a Friday night, which should in theory, be its peak freshness. The nigiri was dried out. Things weren’t replenished often enough that were popular. The egg drop soup was so thick I could have eaten it with a fork. My four year old barely touched anything and he eats everything and my husband found a long hair wrapped around the chicken and stick of his chicken skewer. It was $ 30 for two adults and one child but I’d rather spend that and get two decently cooked dishes from a local place and have it be quality than whatever it was we just attempted to eat. We won’t be back.

Mediocre food at a reasonable price. Not sure that I will frequent this location much. I would much rather pay more money for better quality food.

I took my family to eat there for a prebirthday celebration for my youngest daughter who loves sushi. My oldest son consumed some raw sushi and he ended up really sick. I will never ever go back there!

Took my family of four there today. Definitely would not go back. The only thing my kids somewhat liked were the desserts. Oh and they were playing Ted the movie. Yes the rated R movie Ted. granted the volume was off but still.

I literally was just throwing up in the bathroom for 20 minutes. 15 minutes after eating the food. I’m sorry but fried rice is not supposed to be YELLOW!!! And dumplings aren’t chewy. This place is gross. Never. Again. Sorry Ichiban buffet but honesty is the best policy.

A+ for a Chinese Buffet restaurant. Not a great selection of food but what they have tastes good.

This was the worst buffet ever! I was highly disappointed with the food and the ice cream in the case with a price of 35¢ on the package. SAVEYOURMONEY and go elsewhere you thank yourself later!

Simply put, you can put frosting on a dog turd, but at the end of the day… it’s still a dog turd. Nice people own this place and I hope one day they get all the wrinkles straightened out. But at this time in history, there is too much wrong here. For staters, the décor and ambiance of the place is just above a cafeteria style environment. I get it, it’s an «all you can eat» buffet, but that shouldn’t mean that we should accept less comfort than your home. Secondly and more egregious, is the position/location of the beverage station. It’s designed to back up to one of the primary buffet lanes, so there is the constant dance with other patrons, that serves to be more annoying than productive. As for the food, its uninspired, under seasoned and as flavor filled as a can of La Choy Chow Mein. The sushi looked sad and ill prepared, the hibachi grill was ready to go, yet no one used it either time I visited… and that silence frightened me. Sadly, the only thing of any value was the pudding/cookie combo I created in hopes of satisfying my pallet in some way. Overall, the experience isn’t what I had hoped for, especially for $ 35 for 3 of us, which is really sad, cause this area of town is HUNGRY for some diversity in the landscape, there is only so many Applebee’s one can consume.

Really good food for a Chinese buffet. The owner is a good guy. The price point is pretty good, could use a couple more servers but this is a brand new place and they’re still finding their footing. The place is very clean and comfortable. There are pictures on the wall that were taken by the owner and most are very well done. Ask him about them and he’ll tell you all about it!

Food was decent, fresh, and plentiful. Host, who is presumably an owner, was very cold and not very welcoming or pleasant at all. If he’s this way all the time, I doubt this place will make it long.

Was much better for a Chinese Buffet than we both expected. No really oily smears and the food was actually fresh, especially the seafood. They have a small Mongolian grill in the back and just $ 10 for a buffet that includes crab legs is not half bad.

Standard«Japanese/Chinese» buffet fair. The crowd was crazy(Sunday after church crowd) so the food was turning over very quickly and stayed fresh. But there really was nothing spectacular about it. The sushi was ok(California rolls, eel rolls, salmon, tuna, etc.) The food was ok. If you’re looking for a place for a large group to take, then come here. They will have something for everyone in your group.

All the standard food for a Chinese buffet. Good selection. Salty as usual. Sushi was O.K., and display was very nice. Place was about 1⁄3 full at lunch on a Wednesday. Ate way too much. Not sure it was worth the lunch price of $ 8.95. They say no tips, but the Hibachi grill has a jar for tips. Just not a place I will visit very often. Maybe once or twice a year.

Busy and a high turnover of food coming out to the buffet. That keeps most of the food fresh but some items were very popular and therefore being horded by line trolls. This place has many options ranging from seafood to fresh fruit. I found a lot of the choices to be extremely oily. The sushi was just ok in my opinion. I loved the green beans and Rangoon. They seemed a little understaffed. Dirty dishes were left on many tables. I’m glad to have another option for Chinese food out this way and will certainly come back.

Went in for lunch today. The place is clean. Several tables had a «booked for group» sign on them. You pay before you eat. Everything is self service including the drinks. Not very many staff members on the floor — barely enough to clear the dirty plates. Food was ok but I went during lunch so I expected the food to be fresh. The hibachi bar is a little weird; they require the chef to put the meat you choose on your plate and cook it. This looked like they were trying to be stingy. Did not try hibachi for that reason. Nothing worth writing home about. I might try again if I am in the area but will not make a special trip.

Good food for a buffet with a wide variety of different dishes to choose from. Costs were $ 10.99 on a Sunday. There’s plenty of dinning space and it appears to be clean.
