Sheldon Gentles formed Epic Entertainment Boston in 2012 with the present day bride and groom in mind. We provide professional DJ’s non cheesy for your wedding, party or private event. After several years of working with some of the top wedding entertainment companies and venues in the Boston area, the demand for Sheldons services began to grow. To fit these demands Sheldon recruited and trained DJs with his similar style of play and level of professionalism to join his team.

At Epic Entertainment Boston we pride ourselves in providing top notch entertainment with a modern approach. We also offer wireless uplighting, dance floor lighting, and photo booth rentals to take your event to the next level. Our mission is not to just play great music, but to ensure that you and your guests have a truly memorable experience. Our clients are our top priority and each event is custom tailored to YOU.

Dj/​owner Owner and founder of Epic Entertainment Boston, Sheldon Gentles, aka DJ Shelly Shell, has over ten years of professional DJing experience in the greater Boston area. His exceptional ability to make an event entertaining and memorable has increased the demand for his services. This led him to create one of the premier event entertainment companies in Boston. His experience ranges from weddings, night clubs, corporate events, private parties and much more. DJ Shelly Shell spins a tailored mix of Hip-​Hop, R&B, Classics, Motown, Top 40, Oldies, Reggae, Reggaeton, Latin and a few custom blends.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, «good vibes» and a wonderful atmosphere have been a part of DJ Shelly Shell’s culture since his childhood. It’s only natural that these traits translate into a career as DJ/​MC. His high-​energy music selection, combined with artistic twists and smooth transitions from genre to genre is guaranteed to give crowd-​goers an action-​packed performance everyone

Keith Roberts was the DJ for our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about him and Epic. We met with Keith a few times to walk thru the details of the day but gave him the freedom to do what he thought was best (after all he does this for a living, not us). Keith, literally made our wedding a success, he provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and finally reception. It was a bit challenging because the event took place outside and on 3 floors within the venue. Keith pulled it off and a month after the wedding we are still getting compliments on «the DJ». Literally, people were dancing from the start until the lights went out. Thanks to Epic and Keith you guys are amazing!!!

We chose Epic Entertainment Boston to provide a photo booth for our wedding on 10/​12/​2014 and are extremely pleased that we did. Sheldon was very responsive and helpful through every step, and I loved that the contract signing and event details were managed through his website. The booth itself looked very classy and was easy to use and our guests had a great time with it. Best of all, you can’t beat the price. I shopped around A LOT and Epic provided not only the booth rental, but all the extras (attendant, props, scrapbook, USB of all photos AND posting photos to Facebook) were included at a great value. Other MA and NH photo booth companies charge extra for each of these. On top of the great price, the prints themselves are bright, clear, beautiful high quality photos that can rival any others — see for yourself on Facebook. I would recommend Epic Entertainment Boston’s photo booth to everyone.

We hired Epic Entertainment for our recent wedding and used DJ Jonathan Berube for our event. Sheldon, the owner, was very professional and helpful throughout the process. He put us into contact with Jonathan initially, but was available throughout the months leading up to the wedding. I used their photobooth services as well.
Jonathan is a super nice guy and awesome DJ. He was very patient and accommodating, as I wanted to meet with him on a couple occasions and even sent him a «play list» and «do not play list». Crazy, I know! It was important to us that the guests of our wedding have a great time and music is such a big part of that. The dance floor was never empty the entire night! He even got my husband to dance, which was the biggest surprise of all.
If you need entertainment for your wedding or party of any sort, use Epic. You will NOT be disappointed, these guys bring the party!

We hired Sheldon for our wedding reception and he went above and beyond what we expected from a DJ, providing lighting as well at a very competitive cost. He was also very helpful in advising us how to set up the evening, was prompt to meetings and extremely organized. We even sent him a whole list of guest requests and he did a great job putting together music that everyone liked. The uplighting really set the ambiance for the night and pumped up the dancing at the reception. The party was so much fun and almost everyone was on their feet. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him!
