Michael Vereen opened his practice in 1989 and has been practicing law in Metro Atlanta since then. Focusing on nearby Cobb, Cherokee, and Forsyth counties; Michael has 3 satellite offices, 1 in each county. This makes it more convenient for his clients. Professionally, Michael was invited and participates in a Mastermind Collaboration with other Bankruptcy professionals quarterly.

Michael Vereen, a Georgia native, has lived, studied, and practiced law in Georgia.

Born in Moultrie, Georgia, Michael has lived in Georgia his entire life. Michael graduated from three prestigious Georgia Colleges with advanced degrees in the Study of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from nearby Valdosta State College in 1984.

After earning his BBA, Michael decided to attend law school at the prestigious Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. Upon graduation and receiving his Juris Doctor from Mercer, he decided to expand his grasp for legal studies at the Internationally ranked Emory University School of Law, receiving a Master of Laws from Emory in 1989. This is a prestigious designation held by few attorneys.

Michael is also a longstanding member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Association.

Michael also enjoys time on his tractor in his garden, coaching youth basketball, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Well, I was up for possession of marijuana, marijuana pipe, obstruction of a criminal investigation and leaving a private drive. I essentially ran a stop sign, maybe so? The Cumming City police officer was in a Dirty Harry movie that day and did not like the way I handed him my license. Pulled me out of the car and rough handled me.
Long story short $ 2500 to Mr Vereen and a few weeks later they threw the whole case out!
I was relieved to say the least so well, my experience was good. I was surprised as I did not have many talks with him and this worried me.
No loss of license, probation and associated costs, no pee tests
i’m good to go

Shady is a good word to describe this guy. I failed to trust my instincts and hired him in Aug 2012. BIG mistake. Everyone says he’s only about the money, and they’re absolutely right. Once he’s got your money, he disappears, leaving you to deal with 2 clueless bimbo assistants. He filed an incorrect case, didn’t bother to show up to court, and then refused to refund even a portion of my fee. If you question him, he becomes rude, defensive, arrogant and has no semblance of professionalism. Also has an arrest record, so its obvious he’s devoid of character. I wouldn’t recommend this guy to an enemy! He’s a liar, a flake and a criminal. If I could rate him a zero I would.

This guy sees his clients as $$$. This is the second time I have contacted him. The first time he was so rude and arrogant that I was in tears when I hung up on him. Then he moves up by my area so I decide to give him a second chance,…Maybe hes a little better after many years went by. But, NO, not really… still arrogant, shady – dances around his fees, talks over you and tries to get you to sign a contract without all the facts. And, still rude too! Wow! I don’t know how he stays in business. He plasters his pretty face all over the phone book, but, looks don’t make up for character & integrity Mr. Vereen. Don’t waste your time w/him. I found a guy that charges half the fees & is an angel compared to Mr. Vereen. Straight forward fees, respectful, understanding and friendly. Just call around, you will find tons better. I promise. :-)
