CPR World is an American Heart Association affiliated training site that teaches BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPR/​AED courses in the greater Boston area.

We are located off of I-​93 in Canton, MA. We offer a stress-​free environment. Snacks and drinks are provided free of charge, as well as lunch for ACLS and PALS. Students receive their certification cards before they leave our facility upon completion of the course.

History

Established in 2009.

CPR World was founded by an ICU Nurse who wanted to teach other health care professionals how to save lives following the American Heart Association guidelines. By creating a calm and comfortable space she knew they could master these skills more easily. She herself had taken these same classes many times throughout her career. The information must be explained in a way for them to grasp it. The goal is to better the students understanding of the material– specifically how the heart works and can be assisted during a cardiac arrest.

I recently renewed my ACLS certification here. Suzanne was great! She has many years of experience as an ICU nurse and is very knowledgable. She has plenty of up-​to-​date equipment and diagrams to see and use. The vibe of the class is very laid back and comfortable. Even the mega code is not intimidating at all. She also orders lunch and has snacks and coffee available in the room throughout the class!

Wow, I learned more from Suzanne in a BLS Skills test than I have ever before in 20 years of certification. She is obviously very knowledgable, is a great teacher and, most importantly, encourages analytical thinking during an emergency. I’m planning on signing up for the ACLS class there, which I had planned to do on my own. I know taking the class from Suzanne I will learn so much more. I appreciate that CPR World uses robotic manikins which report on quality and rate of compressions as well as lung inflation.

Highly recommended if you need CPR Training! I took the First Aid/​CPR/​AED course and she was excellent. Suzanne was a great instructor, very knowledgeable and engaging. She is very informative and made the information easy to learn. The class was about 8 people, which allowed for more individual attention. The room was well stocked with snacks to keep us going as well as all the equipment we needed. I found the price was one of the most reasonable around; definitely worth the money.

I have taken this course in the past and just recently got my BLS and ACLS renewed. The class and instructor are great and I really learned a lot. The environment is stress free and the instructor makes you feel very comfortable. It’s not one of those classes where you’re nervous the whole time. Everyone works as a team and it’s actually pretty fun! She also orders Bertucci’s and has a big snack room. I will continue to come back here and have recommended this place to friends who are looking for classes.
