There is a lot to be said about word of mouth referrals. My 87 year old mother uses her computer(running Windows 7) for communication with me and my west coast brothers. Because I am closest(300 miles away) I inherited the role of «computer guru» to keep her up and running. Microsoft somehow co-oped her computer and installed Windows 10, which her 5 year-old computer could not handle, to say nothing of my mother’s state of mine. I am 300 miles away, so I reached out to people I know in the area to find someone there to «fix my Mom’s computer». A friend recommended Byte Me, and we followed up.(Anything is better than the BestBuy geek squad.) So we took the computer to Byte Me to make it so Microsoft could not impose again and to back everything up. Jason turned her computer around in two days. During the work, he found that that laptop was over-heating, so he solved that problem and did not charge her anything for this fix. As I view it, this saved my mother’s «mother board», The computer came back«home» the next day and has been working exceptionally since then. I feel I have a person I can trust to help my mother at times when I cannot get to her to correct problems with her computer. That is a MUCH higher level of recommendation than anything I use for myself. I TRUSTTHEMWITHMYMOTHER!!! I cannot recommend this business more highly.
