Best Western Mountain Villa Inn & Suites

The staff was completely incompetent. We had prepaid for four nights and this apparently somehow confused them, as they attempted to kick us out at 12:30 am on the second night.
To add to this horribly idiotic action, not only were we all asleep at 12:30 am, if I had not answered the door, the foolish night manager would have unlocked it. I know this because he had the master key in his hand.
To top it off, our 1 year old and 4 year old, who had a fever, would have been impossible to get back to sleep if they had woken up… luckily they did not.
At the time of this event, which occurred a month ago, I was of course very angry at what I had experienced and wasn’t able to get back to sleep for over two hours… anyone with kids knows how precious their sleep is, especially when on vacation. After all, peaceful, uninterrupted sleep is a major part of what the hotel promised to provide when we paid and agreed to stay there, correct?
When we checked out the hotel manager promised one nights stay would be refunded for the obvious wrong committed against my family. However, it never was and I’d guess this was a ploy to avoid the well deserved negative review from being written (I did promise them I would write one, so here it is).
Management and staff has turned over at this hotel, because when we stayed here three years prior, my family had a positive experience. Suffice it to say, that positive review has been replaced with this one, which reflects the current poor quality of overall service they offer.

You could not pay for the room and me stay here. The service was poor, the room was dirty and to top it off the sheets had blood.
