History

Established in 2007.

After returning home from a teaching gig in Pennsylvania for two years, I began working at a spa. After a while, everybody that was coming to me for an appointment were people that that I had introduced to the spa.

One day while talking with my Kung Fu instructor, he suggested that I open my own office because he didn’t know of anyone that did the kind of massage that I did. So long story short… here I am.

I started out as a child in Canton, Ohio. But seriously, I started giving massages to my father when I was ten years old to help him recover from a near fatal fall two years previous. I have been doing it ever since.

Flash forward to 2002, when I started massage school at The Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron, Ohio with over 3000 hours of hands-​on experience. I excelled at anatomy and physiology, The Myofascial Release Massage and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, earning certifications in both of the latter. I graduated with honors in 2004.

One of my former anatomy instructors compares my knowledge and skill set to that of a «surgeon without a scalpel.» Then add to that a disarming sense of humor and a personality that has the effect of a warm cup of hot chocolate on a cold Ohio night and you will realize what it is like to be under my care. I look forward to helping you.
