Service is still Excellent!!! But what is a turn off is that they are always out of ingredients! When I ordered Lox & bagels last time, they were out of capers! Tonight I ordered Pita BLT& Avocado… and Alfalfa Sprouts was listed in the menu… as I was eating it… I noticed something was missing & Lo & Behold… there was NO Alfalfa Sprouts! Waitress was nice enough to check & apologize for not noticing it & of course the chef said they were OUT of it!!! They still made the sandwich and served it without acknowledging one of the key ingredients is missing. OH! And another ingredient that is missing is Russian Dressing!!! That too was listed in the menu! ****SERVICEWASEXCELLENT**** the waitress was super 5STARS!!!

i love eating here! the food is good but i come specifically for renee. she is my favorite person at this place. she’s always running around, serving pretty much every single person there. she’s the reason i come once or twice a week! if you come here, ask for renee! she’s the best!

They care a lot about customer service. While their portions aren’t gigantic, their food is every bit tasty and worth the price. They are cheaper than Jerry’s but far more reasonably priced — especially for delivery(I’ve never actually been to Weiler’s Deli, but I order there regularly). They are loyal to loyal customers and when I mentioned that I was disappointed that they didn’t provide more chicken strips in their chicken strip dish, as a gesture of kindness they informed me that only three strips were provided in the meal — but gave me an extra one for my order. It’s these little niceties that go a long way. They trust that I, as a customer won’t take advantage of them by now demanding four strips, but also know when to say, «I’ll show her our appreciation for her consistent loyalty to our establishment by providing her with that extra strip this time.» This sounds ridiculous, but it is THESE things that keep me happy and as a happy customer I will continue ordering Weiler’s and although I will have a tinge of disappointment that their delicious chicken strips only include three actual strips, I will fondly remember the time they gave me four and I will relish in that kindness!

Waited for 10 mins for server. Seemed like she was ignoring me. Been here before and I don’t know why I came back. Food is mediocre… This place is a dump

Came in to pick up a take out order today. As I waited for my order, I noticed the place was a little empty, then again, it was New Years Day and afternoon. Nonetheless, let me tell you what I saw. The man behind the counter had a cough, a dry cough, although a cough. He turned his head when he coughed and I never saw him wash his hands. And the waitress, an older lady was working hard. She was seating people, taking toast out of the toaster and putting it on plates, clearing tables, all without stopping to wash her hands either. Crumbs were on the floor behind the counter, visible to people coming in. This just set the tone and put a bad taste in my mouth. If I ever wanted to eat there before, I sure don’t now. Thankfully, the lady behind the counter got my order and I was outa there. The food was good, thus the one star.

I was jonesing for a chopped liver sandwich for years, as I live in Seattle now and there isn’t a good Jewish deli around anywhere. Had one last Saturday while visiting family in L.A. and it was so good! My only complaint was that it was a little salty for me, but I am admittedly very sensitive to salt in food.

We came in for a small bite and ended up with the best matzo ball soup and pastrami corned beef reuben. Luv the old time waitress and we will definitely be back. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Well I have to say that the food was hot which was good But the service is a question. I think several health department regs were violated in the just half hour I was there for breakfast. The waitress during my entire meal was eating food with her hands out of a plastic bag, continually while she was preparing bagels and toast and assembling food with those hands that she was also continually picking food out of a bag and eating. Also with no gloves. I don’t know if she also had a cold since she was also blowing her noise into a hankershief. When cleaning the prep table she also scaped butter of the table and put it back into the butter dispenser to be used again. While the food was good the lack of healthy food preparation was frightening. Good luck and will not see you again.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered to go was told my order would be ready in 15 – 20 mins. I get there 20 mins later and my food was not put in at all!!! Had to wait an additional 30 min and she I get my food, the owner was telling me,” I told u it would take 1 hr”. When they didn’t put my order in they told me 15 mins and 30 mins later I get my food. I asked for utensils and there is none and the person that took my order didn’t even apologize at all!!! Food maybe good but customer service is horrible when the customer feels that they are getting blamed for the worker’s mistake. I’ve worked at a restaurant and when I mess up I make sure the person gets their order as soon as possible especially when their order never got put in at all. This is horrible when the person taking care of your order is the owner and her daughter is taking the order and she doesn’t even know what’s she’s doing!!! This just made my night!!! Especially when my bill was over $ 50!!!

Food is good when they get your order right, but tonight was awful. At $ 15 for a whole sandwich without anything but meat & bread, almost $ 2 extra for each topping, & coleslaw that looked to have expired last week, I expected more. Guess I won’t do takeout or delivery anymore, which is a real shame because they really are good when we eat there.

Great food and a hidden gem! Hope these guys are here forever! Don’t have have the heart give less than 5 stars because the owners are so sweet but I can’t not say something. This one waitress is a recurring problem. We asked for the booth in the corner for 3 of us and we’re told flat out«no.» I asked again to make sure I heard right and the waitress repeated, «No. That’s for parties of 5.» WOW. We’ve sat there before with less than 5. Booth sat empty during our whole meal.

Food took 2 hours to deliver only 2 Fish & Chips plates. It was cold when it arrived and for a $ 13(each) meal, you you think there would be more food. It was basically a snack. Lady on the phone when we called was rude. The guy who delivered was rude and hung up on me when HE got lost to a very basic residential address. $ 33(delivery fee included) and 2 hours later, I could have WALKED to Long John Silvers and paid less for the same quality meal, and still got it faster. At least then my food would be hot.

I just took my family to eat here. Wow, talk about unhappy people working there. The lady at the front desk needs to take a class in how to be friendly to people coming in to dine… She was extremely rude. Food was expensive and just okay. My husband did not like his meal at all. Needless to say, we will not be going there again for a long time to come…

I just brought home my take out order of chicken noodle soup from this Weilers. I ordered the medium size soup and for $ 10.00 I got broth, celery, carrots and noodles. Where was the chicken? It was supposed to be CHICKEN noodle soup! I called to complain to the manager who could use lessons in customer service. Instead of an understanding ear along with a solution that would make up for an unacceptable bowl of chicken soup, she went on the defensive and was confrontational. So if you are thinking of going to this Weilerss DON’T. Look around for another Deli where you can get a healthy serving of chicken soup and for under $ 10.00.

For basic traditional breakfast, this place is great. It’s not super high frills, but food is good, the staff is nice and the coffee is potent enough to keep you going all day long.

I dined here on Labor Day around 10AM. The waitress took an old pancake, threw it in the microwave and served it. My potatoes were also old and microwaved. They don’t seem ashamed of this practice. The microwave sits in plain view behind the bar counter. On a positive note, my over medium egg was almost cooked correctly. Bonus.

I’ve been coming to Weiler’s since I was a kid and it’s still amazing after 23+ years that it’s been in my life. That’s enough time to try many of the variety of items they have on their menu. One thing I was surprised by was their hot dogs. I’m not someone that likes hot dogs but theirs are great! They have a nice grilled finish on them you won’t find at many places. I also love their scrambled eggs and lox. It’s kinda pricey, but worth it. The relaxed atmosphere and comfortable booths add to the excellent dining experience-and they also deliver!

Worst of the worst. Never order from here. Ordered a veggie Reuben and ended up with a plate full of meat after 1.5 hours. Called the restaurant directly and all they could say is that’s too bad; call eat 24 and deal with it. Plus, «we are closing, sorry» when they are still open for a hour. Worst customer service ever! I hope this place goes out of business soon. They don’t care about customers at all.
