Pro’s:
* Price/​affordable (although it has gone up recently), staff is good and caring for the most part (see con’s, there are bad apples anywhere you go), and location (close to warner center), they have nice holiday programs and a nice graduation ceremony every June with a small party in the front where they rent jumpers, food/​snack/​drinks and have a quality face painter come out (no charge).
Con’s:
* Parking is small and can get hectic, often the house/​building entrance and small toddler room smells really bad (soiled diapers which is understandable, but a bowl of vinegar would help), good teachers have left or been let go (idk which) and no notice was given to parents to let us know that the teachers/​staff our kids have become accustomed to are gone, there was one teacher in the past (who is gone now, but she was there for a while) that was really harsh with the kids, outdated bill pay (cash/​check only; no ATM/​credit cards), area can get busy during prime drop and pick up times (730a/​500p) as there are a lot of apartments around. Also, I think ownership can do a better job of trying to boost morale of the staff. If they are taken care of a little better it will translate into better care for the kids. Lastly, it seems all the kid’s bathroom hand soap dispensers are always filled with water; i get that kids waste and maybe this is a measure to save on overhead, but don’t overdo the diluting so it is just all water and no soap.
Don’t let my feedback freak you out. This is a good daycare and most of the Con’s are fixable issues.

I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for the first 8 months of my sons life. As most first time moms I was hesitant to enter the work force because that meant leaving my baby in the care of someone else. After reading the great reviews on Unilocal I thought I’d visit to see if this was a place I’d feel comfortable leaving my child. After meeting Ms. Swarna I felt at ease that my son would be well taken care of. My son for the first 8 months cried with everyone but mama but the first day I picked him up from daycare there were no tears. Ms. Swarna is amazing and am so thankful to have found TLC. Now having been there for only 2 months my son smiles and reaches for Ms. Swarna every time I drop him off. Thank you Ms. Swarna for taking such great care of my pride and joy.

This place is amazing. My son is now 13 months and he cries now when he has to leave. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances. my son is now in another daycare. However, I would recommend TLC to anyone. Swarna and Romella are my favorite teachers. They really go above and beyond to make parents and the child feel comfortable and loved. My son learned so much from this school. He started walking at 9 months, crawling at 4 months and holding a bottle at 3 months. He speaks words now like «up, down» «bye and hi» He was taught cute gestures like waving and blowing kisses, pointing and laughing. They helped transition my son from drinking out of a bottle to a sippy cup. Swarna and Romella even cried on Dylan’s last day. If the new Daycare doesn’t work out Dylan definitely will be coming back. Thanks again for everything. We love you Swarna and Romella!!!

This is all I need for my daughter! She’s been with TLC since she was 6 months old, and now 3 years and 4 months — this little monster of mine has truly embraced everything about this school. The wonderful, kind and understanding staff and director, the cozy, familiar and organized facilities, and their school programs that she and I truly love — they are structured to suit the needs of the child and lots of play time.
My daughter has separation anxiety and is not a morning person, so she usually cries when I leave her in the morning, but I pick her up with all smiles to the sky and talks about the school and her friends and tells me how much she enjoyed the school– I had fun in school! I want to go to school again… lol. She can be a spokesperson for TLC you know.
Anyways, thank you TLC! You are not just an institution that keeps parents at peace, but you are FAMILY, and you certainly made us feel that way through all these years. I cannot express how happy and grateful I am for picking you to look after the wellness of my child. You should consider adding a parenthesis after your school name (Tender Loving Care)!
More power to TLC and may you have more successful years to come!

Toddler learning Center has been always great and even got better with major upgrades in educational programs and a totally major overhaul.
The school has added computers and has just recently made major changes to the building.
Let alone this place is extremely safe and a great place to bring your child.
I highly recommend this daycare over any other daycare in the area.
Last point which is important to many people, it is probably the least expensive daycare in the area, you will not get that kind of care for that price. I can reassure you that I have tried to get in for about 7 months now and I finally got in and I surely will not leave this place.

its almost 6 month now since my infant daughter going in TLC. so far we are happy.
teachers in infant room are amazing, they take care babies very well. even my daughter happily going when I drop her in morning that shows that she is happy there and wanted to go, that shows how comfortable our daughter with them.
End of the day she when i go to pick her up, teachers are explaining about whole day apart from daily report and most of the time I found her happily playing around :)

This school is beyond great! The staff is excellent, and my baby was well taken care of. I know how exhausted I get with one child, and these ladies have multiple children every day. They keep the floors extremely clean. They play music to the babies when they sleep. They are super responsive. I wish they would have a better meal plan. If they had something less expensive I would have paid for it. Other than thay it was better than expected. My son never cried when he went in.

As of this post, my 4 year old son has been coming here for two years. TLC is a well-​maintained, respectable, and friendly day care.
The facility is a fairly spacious ranch-​style home. There are two driveways to pull into TLC. It isn’t so bad since alot of people come in to drop off/​pick up at various hours of the day and, granted, some parents take the time to wait to pull up all the way to the front.
The facility has separate areas by nursery, toddlers, and Pre-​K.
Staff is so welcoming and friendly.
The other kids seem to respect each other.
I do feel a sense of community with other parents.
The director is Ms. Anjum, whom is great to work with. Very friendly.
On another note, if your child is in pre-​K, you can expect to have them bring the sandbox home with them.
Some days, my son might as well just come without shoes. It’s the same feeling when he has that much sand in them anyway. Ha!

my son has been there since he was 6 weeks, He is now 4yrs old. I love the staff there. Never had a problem. Very affordable compared to other daycare facilities.
