Dragonfly Stained Glass Studio

Two years ago, I brought a very specific and challenging project to this shop, and they delivered perfectly. It continues to be enjoyed and appreciated in the front room every day. I rarely have need of stained glass work myself, but they have all the materials and expertise one would need, whether a hobbyist or a patron of the art. Can’t recommend them enough!

This is a long review for what was a short and very positive experience at Dragonfly.
I bought light fixtures online and they arrived with the glass shattered. Not a surprise but annoying nonetheless. I wanted to keep the fixtures and simply replace the glass, but the glass has a unique textured look that I thought would be too expensive or impossible to find.
I shopped online but figured I would end up with more broken glass. So then I hit the big home improvement stores and they only sell clear plate glass for windows. Then I stopped by a glass shop on La Brea and they wanted a fortune for one sheet of glass and $ 15 per cut piece. Would have cost me more than the fixtures themselves. No thank you. But they did suggest that I visit a stained glass shop because they deal in unique glass. And that’s what led me to Dragonfly.
I went to Dragonfly with my light fixture and a piece of broken glass to show him what I wanted. He said he can get the exact same glass from his supplier, and he would need a few days to pick up the sheet of glass and cut the pieces. True to his word, he contacted me after a few days to let me know the glass was ready for pick up. I went to his shop and the glass was a perfect match and the price was extremely fair.
My light fixtures look great and I’m so thankful to Dragonfly. I hope to work with them again.
