I like them a lot.
Very honest and knowledgeable.
Replaced my transmission within 900 miles of my warranty being outdated.
They caught it and ran with it and it benefited me greatly.
For other things, brakes, etc., their costs are usually 25 — 30% higher than independent shops.

I found a problem with my car once I got home after I had purchased the car the day before I called Alex man he was on it and took care of me. That’s why I’ll make the drive to get my car services because I felt very welcome. Thanks guys we need more like you guys

unfortunately I chose this dealership for engine repairs for my SRT8 Challenger. naturally I did not want to take my SRT8 to any mechanic. my engine needed a new camshaft & a lifter, they also replaced my engine oil pump. I never got a written estimate & I never saw a repair order until I went to pick up my car two weeks later, needless to say that’s a long time for that kind of a repair. after presenting my warranty documents, I was also told that I no longer had an extended warranty, that it had expired. David, the service advisor told me the extended warranty is counted from the date of first purchase. which makes no sense. I ended up paying for the repairs, and for a rental car. over $ 4,000.00 later I get my car back with some windshield rock chips, a dirty & greasy engine bay, a scratched engine appearance cover, a scratched cold air intake (which I had just installed 2 months prior! even spent the extra money for a polished air intake tube! for these jerks to scratch it!), markings on the engine parts (so the mechanic knows where he took them from!!) polishing compound on the hood insulator (apparently something was damaged and polished)
After complaining about these findings, I was told to return & speak with a manager. I returned during my lunch break to show the damages to a manager. I also reported an audible noise in the repair area when pressure is applied to the engine in the form of driving forward and releasing the clutch. I was told I would get a replacement engine appearance cover, and that my engine probably needed a minor adjustment. I was told to return when the engine cover arrived, to have windshield chips repaired, intake tube scratches polished, and most importantly have the engine «adjusted» I was also offered a discount on tires, which is nice but not necessary & not a concern of mine at all.
when I brought my car back, I was only provided with the engine appearance cover. I was told there were no loaner cars available due to the number of air bag recalls. and this is the story I have been provided with when I inquire about the work that needs to be corrected. I had the air bag recall repairs done in under an hour at Rydell Dodge. I was not provided with a loaner car. I was even being billed the core charge for the damaged camshaft. which is to be exchanged when receiving the new part to avoid the charge, after I asked why I was being charged for that, I was asked if I wanted to keep the old part… why the F would I want a damaged camshaft for $ 100.00?! why wasn’t I offered all of the damaged parts then? Crooks!!! I have been waiting since February! Last month I noticed an oil leak, after removing the oil soaked underside covers, I found that the oil filter was not properly tightened and was completely lose! I added oil immediately! The BAR will hear about all of this! If my oil filter wasn’t tightened properly I can only imagine what else wasn’t done properly!!! No peace of mind!!!

Just leased my 2^nd car from Ed Fleming and Amir. There is a reason why I keep going back to both of them for my cars… fair, HONEST, and not pushy sales type. I highly recommend this place. Ed is very patient and thorough when explaining the difference in vehicles as well as the technology. Very matter of fact vs. Trying to «SELL» u on the product which can turn into a pushy technique. I also take my vehicles here for service and have never had an issue. It happened to be my bday when I was car shopping so they put a candle in a donut and sang Hapoy Birthday to me! We choose Dependable Dodge due to their selection of Dodge Journeys. We choose one that was fully loaded, ended up going down there and test driving it. Well, the particular one we choose ended up having a burning smell and the check engine was one… weird, it was brand new. Anyways, we test drove a Durango due to realizing the Journey was a bit too small. We fell for the Durango and ended up choosing a very nice one from their lot. We were helped by Pete, the English dude. He was pretty cool, not pushy at all. He had an assistant, Hennessy (Sp.?) who came along with us for one of the test drive. He stated he was training but he was really nice, knowledgeable and helped us find out info we were asking about the truck. He hung out most of the time while we were there. We initially came in already pre-​approved with a loan and bank outside of their finance department but Pete convinced us to apply with them and they actually found us a way better loan with a great payment and APR. Our finance guy (im sorry, but didnt catch his name… but he had a really awesome vintage Austin) was pretty cool, got us out of there really quick once we got to him. BTW, this guy was running around all over the place and you can tell he meant business. The place was clean, had a small showroom with a few cars and a table to hang out with. It is of note that we were with our 11 month old daughter, had all of our baby stuff with us and they were pretty cool about it, even with the baby fussing at times. The only thing I wished they did (which Im not sure dealerships offer nowadays because its our fist time buying a new car) was offer coffee or drinks or snacks. We were there for like 4 hours and we werent offered anything like that. Again, not sure if this is common or not, but I think it should be. Anyways, they had great prices here and dont make you feel pressured to buy a car. We would recommend you do your homework and check them out once youve found a car you want. We live in Simi, so will probably get our services closer by, so not much to say about their service department yet. Thanks, Dependable Dodge, we LOVE our Durango!

My father had his truck totaled in an accident and was looking for a new truck. He was just browsing about the lot, and Ed Fleming was great in assisting him with his purchase.
He is the definition of no pressure or no hassle salesman. That is a rarity nowadays when one is buying a new vehicle. Per my father, Ed walked him through all of the options, explained everything, and the finance department was great as well. My father would definitely recommend the personalized service approach at Dependable Dodge over these huge cookie cutter conglomerate dealerships which are so prevalent these days.
And the taco truck that sets up shop in the car wash next door is pretty darn good as well.

I have purchased several vehicles here (be sure to always ask for Amir) and it is an easy, smooth and painless process! Friendly, professional and the best deals in town. The service department is top notch, too! All around top of the heaps dealership!

Bought a new car here last week. The entire process was painful. Ed was a great no-​pressure salesman and spent alot of time showing me all the features on the car and getting the settings right. Highly recommended

I bought a brand new 3500 ram with Aisin transmission I love it, I have had the chance to meet the owner he is always there and really cares about his customers and business. Its family owned and you get family treatment. Service there is awesome. If your in the market for a ram or dodge I would def shop at dependable dodge.

I had been getting my truck serviced here for years. They are one of the few local dealers that have a full time diesel mechanic. David in service is great and I’m glad he has returned to this dealership. It came time to purchase a new 2016 2500 so I went in to submit an order. Michael Passage is their new fleet manager, he and I sat down and put together my truck. We put together all kinds of different options and extras and tested the limits of the order system until we arrived at the truck I wanted. Ed up front closed the deal, appraised my trade in, and put in the order. Fair price negotiated up front both for new truck and trade, no hassle, very transparent. Just over six weeks later the truck shows up, right on time. Final paperwork and financing took 90 minutes. I would definitely buy here again.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I’ve taken my Charger here many times for warranty work and other maintenance service. It has been okay service that deteriorated over the years with my last encounter to be the absolute worst experience yet. My fuel pump went out two Thursday’s ago. My car wasn’t looked at until Monday. They had to order a part and it wasn’t finished until Thursday. This whole time I’m the one calling over and over to figure out what was going on with my car. I finally pick it up Friday to find the Check Engine light still on. They claimed that wrong oil was put in. They said get an oil change and come back to flash the computer. Due to their hours on weekends, I wasn’t able to go back. I called this past Tuesday to ask David an question. He was always busy so I left a message with the secretary. I still haven’t gotten a call back from him.
I took my car into the Huntington Beach Dealership this morning and they saw my car right away and called me to let me know that it was actually the oil pressure sensor gone bad and that I needed a slew of other highly necessary repairs and warranty work. Dependable Dodge just fixed one issue and didn’t bother to look at anything else. It is totally unacceptable and I will avoid this dealership if at all possible!

Michael has been terrific! I inquired about the car listed
and he called me almost immediately. He was very pleasant and I felt very comfortable. I was under a tight budget and he was able to help me work with my budget. He even picked me up all the way in Cerritos which speaks volume of the service he was willing to give. I recommend him when you are looking for either new or used vehicle.
John helped me during closing. He was very organized and had lots of knowledge. He will guide you on the best option for you but is very respectful
of your decision and does not at all push you otherwise. He also has a good sense of humor which makes the whole process relaxing and pleasant.

I had my car serviced for a repair on my radio and doubled down with an oil change service. It was great they were filming a commercial at the time.
I had came in around 9 and with all the movement and craziness on the set of the commercial. The service department was taking care of my needs even having the manager drive me home in their courtesy shuttle!

Showed up with my 2014 Charger. With no appointment .
Surprised how well I was treated by the service dept. They are very knowledgeable .
Needed tires and oil change. They took care of everything in a timely manner. If you own a Dodge, be sure to bring it here. You won’t be disappointed.

Very impressed!.. Let me start with the fact that i am coming out from Thousand Oaks! Not for a deal, but because I heard that the service department has really stepped up their game!..
Initially I went to my selling dealership and was turned down for a part replacement on my vehicle, I was told my warranty didn’t cover it.
I was bummed, thinking typical dealership service department B.S.
I can go on about the bad service I received elsewhere, but that’s not why I’m on here.
I’m here to take the time to show my gratitude and appraise to the fine work these gentlemen do here in the Service Department at Dependable Dodge in Canoga Park.
First impression: as soon as I pulled up a gentlemen named Terry stepped out greeted me and asked, «how may we help you today?..», right away that made me feel comfortable. «I came in for an oil change.» I said. As we went through the swift paperwork, I stepped out to check on my car.
I was then approached by Leo the Service manager, asked me if I had been helped. He assessed my situation and went over my concerns and then took the time to personally check if my warranty covered the part I had been wanting fixed/​replaced. To my big time relief he came through with a positive response of approval for the part to be replaced.

I can finally admit that I had a great visit at a dealership. Rare.

I had been searching for a SUV for months. I spoke with Arthur and Amir on the phone several times regarding pricing, because I was not going to waste time if we could not get with in my price range.
When I arrived at the dealership Arthur came over to show me the vehicle that I was looking at online; there was no «Hard Sell» approach very laid back. I then spoke with Amir (Sales Manager) again very laid back approach, and closed the deal. Even spoke with one of the owners while I was there.
I would highly recommend this dealership (so far).

SERVICE CENTER BAD! I spoke to Wayne, Matt, and others whose names I can’t recall. They had my car for six days before they even looked at it. They informed me that it was my timing chain. I was given an estimate which simply stated :
parts $ 1440, labor $ 1375.
This is a ridiculous price, even though this is a dealership and the job is labor intensive.
I said I couldn’t afford it and he said he would talk to the manager about a cheaper price. No one called me for 2 more days. I decided to have my car towed somewhere else to ACTUALLY BE REPAIRED!
When I called at 10am to have my car towed, they couldn’t even tell me if my car was disassembled or could be transported. Meanwhile, they charged me $ 45 (they did give me a break from $ 120) and I accrued over $ 200 in rental car fees.
I have a 2009 dodge challenger not a piece of junk and I was treated poorly. In the end, this place cost me over $ 300 and almost 10 days without even a legitimate estimate to show for it.

I came to Dependable Dodge to change a part of my 2015 challenger. I thought the body shop manager was really rude, he didn’t want to help me at first.
They took off the whole back bumper before we discussed the price, and after that Lou the manager told me it will cost 190 $. I just wanted to change a small part that already have, I can put it on myself but i just wanted to be sure because my car has less than 5000 miles.
Everyone who works there were really nice to me
The mechanical who was working on my car asked:
Me what’s the problem? He was laughing he knew
Lou asked too much money,
Now am at another dealer who will do it for 30 $!

I took my car for Oil change, i was surprised that the manager came to me and said: i saw your review and we are sorry for what happened and we care about the reviews,
He was really nice to me, and apologized for what happened, I believe this car dealership is good overall, but am sticking with my opinion with body shop manager, other services are perfect and the staff are amazingly helpful,
