Coco’s Auto Repair

For 3 months I waited on my vehicle to be repaired from a botched job Coco’s did from before. They had to replace the top half of my engine from my timing belt jumping the pulley they installed, causing bent valves in my car. I had spent my last AAA tow to have the car towed to Coco’s for them to take a look at it 4 days after they installed a new timing belt and water pump.
Byron, the owner told me I had a blown head gasket and it would cost me $ 600 to $ 700 to repair after spending several hundred dollars with him days before. He showed me the timing belt was still intact, and knew he was trying to convince me it had nothing to do with his former repair. Two signs of a blown head gasket is smoke bellowing from the exhaust of the car and chocolate coloured oil, which I had neither. I had it towed to my house and had another mechanic take a look and the ac belt was installed wrong, jumped the pulley, broke the crank sensor, threw out the timing belt and bent several valves. I had all the proof I needed to get Coco’s to fix it. I asked him to pay for the other mechanic I had to pay and for the parts. He agreed to fix the car. He always put everyone elses job ahead of fixing my car. It wasn’t until i threatened to take him to the Automotive Gestopo that he finally fixed it
