Aztec Polishing & Plating

Horrible horrible horrible stay away She is a liar cant get anything done i dropped off a bumper and a small molding to re chrome she said 300.00 dollars and 5 days com on Friday i went then and she said it didn’t come out good they are gonna re do it com back n Monday after noon when back on Monday she said give me till Tuesday mid day went on Tuesday and she said blah blah blah give me more time i said give me the parts back she was rude and said i don’t wan to argue pick them up to my surprise i picked them up and nothing had been done to them just like i dropped them off NO COSTUMER SERVICE NO QUALITY CONTROL NO SHAME AND NOT A GOOD BUSINESS STAY AWAY !!!

Years ago Aztec plating was the go to place to get things polished and chromed. I would go to car shows all over, and guy would say AZTEC PLATING!!! About 30 years ago I had them chrome about $ 10,000 worth of chrome for a truck I use to show. I guess the old guy sold it years ago. :0(I took some parts in to be chromed and I have to say its not the old Aztec plating place at all. The quality of the work sucks now. Walked out unhappy with one thing I had them plate. Got home to find out a total of 4 of the parts looked like crap. I said something to the lady about the one part before I left. She said it wasn’t the chrome job it was the part I gave her. I took the 4 parts to another shop the next day. I asked him if it was the part or the chrome job. He said he doesn’t think it’s the part but not 100% sure. I showed him the other 3 parts and he said those would have never left his shop like that. He said he can redo them, and if the one part is bad he will not charge me for that one, but he thinks it just should have been dipped again. A week later he call me to pick them up. Everything now looks like show quality chrome work. That’s even the part Aztec said it was the part. I have a number of other things to be chromed and Aztec will never get another part from me. They sure do need to have someone look over the parts before they go out the door or they will be out of business one of these days. I bet the old man is turning over in his grave seeing all of his good name go down the drain. :0(

I was looking for a local shop to polish some intake manifolds and came across Aztec plating. Walked in on a Saturday with a picture of my parts and discussed it with Silvia. Silva was really easy to work with and after dropping off the parts on Monday she already had them done by Tuesday! The parts looked great and the turn around time was fast. I definitely will not hesitate to bring more parts to Aztec in the future.

Absolutely terrible! I had 5 pieces of chrome handles to be refinished. I was told, no problem, 2 weeks. It took almost 4 weeks and 8 phone calls and 3 visits to the shop to get one out of 5 usable parts. I was told over and over that they would be ready «soon» and that Sylvia would call me. She didn’t call. When I called her she said that they were ready. I went to P/​U and was told that they were not ready. No call. This happened twice! No call, no care.
Terrible waste of time and money.
