A-Z Auto Technicians

I have been looking for a mechanic for a while and ran across some comments about this pace and decided to give them a shot; I really like that they are «a neighborhood mechanic». I am in the process of dealing with them, they have my car now… And I must say things have gone very smoothly so far. They communicate well, seem very honest and very helpful. So far I would definitely recommend them!!!

I had been going to another mechanic prior to coming here. All I kept getting was one problem after another after they worked on my car. I decided to give A-​Z a try and WOW, what a surprise!
I brought my car in because I had a check engine light that had come on and then went off on a regular basis. Stewart, the owner, asked me to leave the car and told me there is a diagnosis charge but if they did the work the charge would be applied towards final bill. Stewart called and said he couldn’t find the reason for the check engine light so I told him to keep it a bit longer. After a few days he still couldn’t find a problem. He called me and told me of his findings. He didn’t try to give me any BS or sell me on any un-​necessary repairs. He asked for only ½ the diagnosis charge and told me to come back if the light comes back on.
About a week later the light came back on but stayed on this time so I brought it right over to Stewart. He put a diagnosing machine on to read the code and it turned out to be 2 of the cylinders were misfiring and he’d have to look further into it to get the exact cause of the issue. I left it and the next day he called and told me exactly what needed to be done.
When I picked up my car he told me he did a few extra things but he wasn’t charging me for the work. He described exactly what Otto, the mechanic who worked on my car, did and showed me the old parts which caused the issue. He also said that I should see an increase in gas mileage.
I couldn’t believe how good my car was running after I got it back. The best it’s ever run since I bought it. Idles great, much better mileage and runs smooth.
I’ve had other issues with my car and brought it back and each time Stewart took care of me.
I would highly recommend going to A-​Z for all your service needs. Stewart is great and Otto is amazing.

I moved here from out of state and Stewart was recommended by my wife’s co-​worker. I found him to be an honest trustworthy mechanic with fair prices. Mechanics like him don’t need to spend a dime on advertisement because they have happy customers like us.

Stewart is a great mechanic and the most honest guy around. I’ve had him work on my mom’s car several times, and he is always honest about what she needs. Her a/​c wasn’t working. He checked it out, and it was just a wire that was disconnected. He couldn’t told her that she needed hundreds of dollars worth of work. He’s a really good guy! I highly recommend him. My 2005 Nissan Xterra wouldn’t start, so I called AAA and had them tow it to A-​Z Auto because it was very close to my home, and based on the (few) positive reviews here on Unilocal.I had passed by the place many times before, but never been there, so I was a bit anxious. When the Tow driver heard where he was towing my truck to, he nodded in approval and said «Good choice». That was reassuring. I’ve got my car back now and thanks to Stewart and his guys, it’s running great. He noticed that my truck was due for an oil change and checkup, so he took care of it while it was in for the original issue. He gave me a fair price and the turn-​around was great. Stewart’s a good egg and you can tell that when you talk to him on the phone or meet him in person. Honest and straight-​shooting. Exactly what you want from a mechanic. I’ll definitely return to A-​Z for my next auto service.

As a single woman It’s difficult to find a mechanic that I can trust. I have been bringing my vehicles to Stewart for 12+ years and always get great service. He guarantees his work and always does the job right. I would never consider going anywhere else!

Stuart is a straight up guy. Repairs the part, doesn’t soak you be replacing the whole part if not necessary. Great price and turnaround. He’s been our family mechanic for over 10 years.

These guys helped me out once with a flat. Caught a flat and pulled in here to check the tire pressure. The tire wouldn’t hold air so we had to pull it and thrown on the spare. In the middle of a busy day, these guys got me in and out within 10 minutes.

Stewart is simply an honest guy that does the job right. Price always better than dealer service. Would never go anywhere else for auto service.
