It’s a great little place, definitely a family business. We waited 30 – 35 minutes in a cramped entry way for breakfast, since it’s a very small room with from six to seven tables. Though I didn’t get coffee, I was impressed with their barista skills. The food was excellent but the portions were slightly on the skimpy side, and we left hungry and feeling rushed since there were so many people waiting.

As one of my companions said of our breakfast, «I think this is the best breakfast I’ve ever had eating out.» That sums up our experience here at the Lazy Susan. We also enjoyed the ambiance of having our breakfast upstairs. For dessert? The Marionberry Scone was wonderful!

Great great great brunch my mom and I had !! We got sat promptly and both ordered the quiche specials. I got the wild smoked salmon quiche and my mom had the chorizo sausage and tomato. Both had a choice of potatoes or fresh fruit and we chose fresh fruit. It was a combination of strawberry, banana, apples, melon, and oranges. Plus a cinnamon Raisin Bran muffin which was delicious! I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice and that was great too! Very friendly staff and the owner is so pleasant !! Check this place out. Heads up. Cash or check only ***

If you are looking for family owned and family operated spots this is one to hit while at the beach. You walk into a small but lovely restaurant where you are greeted by the women who was described to me as «the foam whisperer». It looked to be true… latte foam looked like perfection. Breakfast was simple and good. I appreciate swap of fresh fruit for no charge as often potatoes are too heavy for me in the morning. The service was fast and genuinely lovely. Homemade waffle and orange syrup were delish.

Very disappointing… After a long drive into town, we stopped into The Lazy Susan Café. With only 10 mins before they were to close, we were very thankful they allowed us in. This cute, small, two story restaurant has an incredibly warm and inviting staff… But the food was terrible. We both ordered a salad with tuna. It was literally a bowl of lettuce, dried tuna from a can and hazelnuts. The dressing, Curry for my BF, and Vinaigrette for me, were mostly oil and the French baguette was pretty much stale. Not what we expected from a place that came with rave reviews. Lastly, it was way over priced for the amount of food served. We basically spent $ 40 on two tiny side salads.

The Lazy Susan Café is a cute(but small), two level restaurant in Canon Beach that we stopped in for some brunch from a long drive from Seattle. We were greeted by a friendly host and seated. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs as he would bring us more water and asked if we were doing okay. We ordered a Tilly, Eggs Benedict and an Iced Mocha(solely to get more energy though). The food was not phenomenal, if anything mediocre at best. My friend was not happy with the portions in the Tilly so I ended up giving him one of my eggs benedict, which was actually good because I got full off of one. The eggs benedict was good, but not a whole lot of flavor in the ham or sauce. My potatoes were not fully cooked and kind of burnt(but it didn’t taste burnt). Overall I think this is a cute place to check out if you’re in the area visiting but don’t expect the best food-wise.

We have to go everytime we are with in 30 minutes of Cannon Beach. The food is amazing and the staff is as well. The young lady who runs the place is the sweetest ldy you will meet. The wait is worth it!

The Lazy Susan Café is a cozy breakfast/brunch spot in Cannon Beach’s downtown area. We stopped in after a quick walk to Haystack Rock around 12pm on a weekday and the place was packed! We thankfully got the last table for four. Menu wise, there is not too much variety, but given the small tightly knit organization of The Lazy Susan café, it’s understandable. What miffed me was the lack of dairy-free/vegan options, although I’ll admit the Healthnut bowl(granola with fruit) was refreshing. Service was also quite friendly and attentive. The major reason for the 3 star review however was the food poisoning two of my companions had quite soon after our meal. Buyer beware: if you try the Seafood Salad, make sure to have a bathroom nearby. Given the relatively more expensive prices for brunch and – obviously – the upset stomachs afterwards, I’d only recommend this place if you’re particularly craving omelettes and granola bowls and don’t want to make them yourself.

Never got to eat here but needed to comment about the rude people who work here. I walked in with my family after reading that they were a dog — friendly café. Not only are they not a dog-friendly place, they are just not friendly. They were rude and mean telling me that it is not written anywhere as a dog-friendly place.

Fresh squeezed orange juice & oatmeal waffles; fresh fruit, organic salads, crumpets; homemade scones; Nancy yogurts; and many egg dishes for those who eat eggs… Best side potatoes ever.

Lazy Susan’s Café in Cannon Beach, Oregon is a little gem. The atmosphere is quaint and lovely inside, the people were so nice and friendly. And the food was exceptional. I had a homemade oatmeal waffle with lemon sauce, fresh pears, and whipped cream with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. I highly recommend, heads up it is cash only :)

Really cute restaurant. For breakfast my daughter and I had the daily special waffle — gingerbread waffle with sliced pears and lemon curd. My wife really enjoyed her omelet. We’ll definitely be back — maybe tomorrow!

Excellent place! Couldn’t have picked a better place to have brunch at. Girlfriend had just a plain waffle with butter and syrup and I had the mushroom omelette with cheddar and added sautéed spinach with the side of fresh fruit. Only thing that was a little off was the juices from the mushroom omelette ran under the fresh fruit which didn’t make some of the pieces of fruit appealing but other than that nothing bothered me. Would go back again. Service was great and attentive. Food was excellent!

Charming, charming, charming. That is Lazy Susan in one word. The sunlight pours through the windows on the few clear days in Cannon Beach, and the whole little restaurant smells of coffee. They serve a locally roasted coffee, and it is spot on. I love their cappuccinos. They have a cozy café-by-the-sea menu. You see crab pop up here and there in the different dishes. Omelets, eggs, biscuits, and the like. They serve the pastries they have up front with the menu plates, and also sell them separately. Their croissants are fabulous. We ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich to indulge in this flaky treat which they warm up with perfectly cooked scrambled egg, salty ham, and a thin slice of cheddar. I would love to eat this every morning. I took home a Marionberry Scone with no regrets. Lazy Susan is all about having a lazy breakfast. Sip on a mimosa, or two, or three… The service is as golden as the sun that streams through the windows. The price is steep, so enjoy yourself as much as you can.

Came for lunch on Sunday with a friend. We were seated promptly. Ambiance is casual café, with friendly service. We decided to order the gingerbread waffles(the special), The Special Omelet(that’s actually what it’s called) and a bowl of the clam chowder(the daily soup). It was the perfect amount for two people. The gingerbread waffles were delicious. They were warm, slightly spicy, and paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and soft slices of pear. I loved this dish. I could eat it for breakfast every week!(I would say every day, but I don’t want diabetes…) The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and had a good amount of clam in it. I liked that there were *not* chunks of potato in it. Served with oyster crackers. Classic and satisfying. The omelet was pretty standard, nothing outstanding, with no color to it(I personally prefer when my omelet has been allowed to brown or caramelize a bit on one side). We opted to have it served with a side of fruit, which was a nice touch of freshness. Overall, a good meal in a nice café. Don’t pass on the gingerbread waffles! I kind of wish we’d grabbed a scone before leaving, but alas, I was distracted and forgot. Other things to note: there are bathrooms upstairs, which are clean. Also they only take cash!

THEYONLYTAKECASH. But, do not let that stop you. It’s amazing!!! Super fast service even when there was a waitlist. Super Yummy mocha and coffee. The smell hits you when you walk in the door. It’s a crazy delicious smell and then the food does not disappoint! 5-Stars! The Gingerbread Pear waffles are heavenly. It seemed to be a cream cheese whipped cream topping with pear sweet sauce. We also ordered a spinach Swiss cheese pepper bacon omelette. It was cooked to perfection and everything was very fresh. Order the fruit instead of potatoes because they’re amazing.

The Lazy Susan Café made me a little less lazy to write my first review on Unilocal.A cute, quaint place by HW-101. We had the gingerbread waffle with lemon sauce and fresh pears and a veggie omelet for brunch — absolutely superlative! Will be back for sure!

A cute and quaint breakfast spot in Cannon Beach! A little more on the expensive side, but the food was pretty standard. I had an omelette and potatoes, which were just ok, and my husband had one of their daily specials. It is open earlier than some other spots, so that was a nice perk for our early morning! Tip: Try the jam!

My friend spoke highly of this cute little spot in Cannon Beach, so we headed there to have breakfast on our first morning in town. There was about a 15 minute wait on a Wednesday around 9:30, mainly because it is an adorably tiny house that has been converted into a restaurant. The service was lackluster, which I always have a hard time saying. But it was. That, paired with the mediocre food and we have a mix of meh– it was aight. I am a sucker for a «Southwest style» omelette, which almost any breakfast joint has and they did. It was fine. I had a side of fruit and an english muffin which were also fine. Others at the table also thought their meal was fine. So fine.
