I ate at the bar and they have me a real bowl of chili. It cost the about $ 6 and then I order the same at the restaurant and I got a tiny cup of chili for the same price. I told the server it wasn’t a bowl and I was told it was. Last time I ever order from the menu here. I’ll just go to the bar next time or to the local restaurant in fort Yates. The buffet is ok, the food is below average and the salad isn’t that great. Everything has cheese or dairy and it doesn’t work for me when I can’t eat dairy. That’s why I ordered the chili.

The rooms are clean, though I really don’t like dark comforters on my bed. A lot of hotels are switching to white sheets that are still comfortable and warm– and CLEAN. The food in the bar is pretty good, normal bar food. The bartenders seem to be better during the daytime, then in the evening. The service in the buffet is pretty great, they work with you for special request. The food needs revamping and love. The meat was dry every day I was there, and the menu rarely changed. I remember it being a lot more fresh when it first opened up, but it’s seem to have gone a bit awry.

Nice, clean rooms and a bargain at the price! Traveling on a family trip so the casino was not an attraction.

I love me some casinos, and couldn’t resist the offer to try out Prairie Knights for the first time this weekend. This is mostly a slot-machine casino, though there were some table games in action. The slots aren’t as high-tech as those I’m used to — very few were of the bonus-round, high animation style that I adore — but there was still enough variety to keep me entertained. Something else I wasn’t used to: no one checked ID, and you could walk right on to the gaming floor without any barriers. I’m used to having my ID scanned first. The casino has a non-smoking room with slot machines only. Ample parking in the lot. Like most casinos, it’s located in BFE, but the scenery is pretty.
