Mason’s Custom Motorcycle & Service

Exceeded all my expectations and were all around great. I took my 1977 Kawasaki in and they gave me great advice on how to work on it, what needed to be done, what I should keep an eye on and helped me on my way to getting it into tip top shape. I would recommend them to anyone, especially for people who have had trouble finding a mechanic for their older bikes! They are extremely knowledgeable and love bikes!

Dean and Brian have been great to work with and take super care of my ’06 Harley. Purrs like a beast when I pick it up for my service.

I went to Mason’s because it’s within walking distance of my home and because I heard the mechanic has a Honda and is quite enthusiastic about it, even though his shop specializes in American cycles. The mechanic came out to from the garage to the parking lot and, before I could say much, dismissed me, saying he couldn’t work on my bike because it was too old (it’s a 1982 Honda) and that he didn’t really know how to work on it. He made a recommendation for another mechanic, someone that will take two and a half hours to get to by mass transit (I’ll have to do that coming or going if I take my bike there), and said absolutely anyone else «will ruin your bike.» It didn’t feel like he was trying to be helpful — it felt like he was trying to get rid of me for good. I felt like I was bothering him with what questions I tried to ask. I thought he was going to pat me on the head and say, «Now you go on your way, little woman, so I can get back to the guys.» Based on the contemptuous attitude, I can’t recommend this place.
