Canby Cleaners

I have been doing business with Canby Cleaners since 1973 and have been happy with their service. This week I took a simple cotton duvet, 3 flat shams, a muslin bedskirt and 3 pillow covers in to be washed and ironed. I was told they would be done either Tuesday or Wednesday after 3.
I wanted untill Wednesday to pick them up. When I arrived the man could not find the duvet or shams. I happened to look over and saw them laying on a counter unwrapped. I asked if they had been ironed, he told me «yes.»
I had noted they were neatly folded, I did not notice they had not been ironed until I got home and ready to put on the bed. I had to iron a king sized duvet, and the pillow shams. The bed skirt and pillow covers were done up in plastic and had been cleaned and ironed. The bill for the total was $ 73.00,
Needless to say I will not be going back there again.
