We offer free tastings at our cuvenee wine-​bar every Thursday through Saturday. January and February bar hours are Friday nights and Saturdays only. We are conveniently located in Parkway Plaza, on Routes 5 & 20 in Canandaigua.

Wow, I have never seen such a great and big selection of wines!
If I lived in the area, this would certainly be my go to wine and liquor store.

I stopped here specifically to vet their knowledge on Finger Lakes wineries. I figured I would get a more objective opinion then from the wineries themselves. We were assisted by Steph, who had way more knowledge than I thought I would have stumbled upon.
I feel that I have considerable knowledge of what I consider the major, US wine regions. That excludes the Finger Lakes region in my mind, but I was interested and didn’t want to just dismiss the region. Steph had a terrific understanding of the local grapes, blends and wineries. Over the next several days, as we toured the region, I found her suggestions to be about 98% spot on.
There are a lot of wineries in this area. Along with that, there are a lot if scary, bad wineries. I felt that Steph’s suggestions saved us a few buck on tasting fees, as well as saving our palates for better stuff.
