A Water Solution

This company appears to do most of it’s business through Home Shield’s Home Warranty program, in which they are assigned to the client by Hme Shield, collecting a $ 75 service fee no matter the issue. Since the client does not have a choice, there’s little motivation for customer service. We had a leak in drain. The plumber showed up, cut through drywall to locate the leak, did not have the *part* to fix it and had to come back a week later to complete the fix. I’m sorry, but a decent plumber should be able to fix a leaky pipe on site. I guess we’re on our own fixing the drywall.
Basically it seems like this company does the minimum it needs to do to stay on the warranty program.

I had the temperature and pressure relief valve replaced on my water heater. It was still covered under my homeowners warranty, so it only cost $ 55 for the material and labor.
Tim who came out to do the job was very nice and informative about what needed to be done in the future with my 40 gallon tank. Although, I wasn’t ready to replace my tank, he still gave me the details of what to ask for even if I decided to go with another company later. Honesty is a huge deciding factor, and quite persuasive!
However, realistically, money is always close to the bottom line, so if they are too expensive without the warranty back-​up, then I may go elsewhere. But my experience was good and it has at least earned a call if ever needed again.
