ESL Conversation and Pronunciation Coach

Most ESL sessions are fine tuned to each of my clients’ goals and interests. Some clients want to work on professional emails, vocabulary, and conversation skills, but I like to leave it open to your suggestion and goals. For families new to the country we can also work on everyday terms and tasks like going to the post office, buying items around the house, talking to teachers at your child’s school, shopping, banking and an overall understanding of daily life in America. Once we know where we’re headed, I’ll create sessions that serve your specific purpose.

History

Established in 2005.

My tutoring history began 10+ years ago at Kean University, where I worked with over 150 students to improve their basic skills. I was with the university for 2 years prior to relocating to California, where I have since tutored privately. My students attend many local schools within the Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, San Jose and Sunnyvale School Districts.

I’ve worked with multiple clients as an ESL Coach for the past 7 years. Most are professionals aiming to reduce their accents, speak English more fluently during conversations and have a better understanding of American culture and slang. My clients have been from China, Japan, Italy, Iran, Taiwan, Portugal and Poland.

What gives me the greatest satisfaction is seeing a student’s light bulb turn on, as he or she successfully overcomes a challenge. Confidence is a major factor in academic success. While tutoring students, my priority is not only to polish basic skills, but also to build their confidence, accountability and perseverance.

My students attend many local schools within the Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, San Jose and Sunnyvale School Districts.

I’ve worked with multiple clients as an ESL Pronunciation Coach for the past 7 years. Most are professionals, and families new to America, aiming to reduce their accents, speak English more fluently during conversations and have a better understanding of American culture and slang. I have worked with people from countries around the world including: South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Iraq, Taiwan, Italy, Portugal and Poland.
