Suit & Tux Boutique

Went all over the place and ended up choosing this spot for my wedding. Primarily for the hand tied ties. None of that clip on stuff. Everyone looked very good and I also heard some feedback on their shoes from my groomsmen on how comfortable they were. Thank you for making this very easy and for making everything go smoothly!
Only down side is they don’t do a «Groom gets his free» deal.

I got the suit for my wedding here. It was tailored perfectly, and was a great price. I’d come back here for any suits I need in the future.

I have been coming here to see Alex for over a year now. He is a great guy who does great work– Highly recommended.

I wish there was an option for zero stars. We called them to check if they do alterations and if we can come now. After reaching there they just refused to do it after explaining them that we had called before coming they said the guy on phone might be confused. Please don’t go to this place its just waste of time and money.

After going to moda italia we were seriously traumatized and scared of having same bad experience.
We were so VERY HAPPY to discover Alex and Michael are professional and kept their word. My husband got his suit for our wedding, perfectly fitted. My dad and our two sons rented and all the fellas looked just perfect for our wedding day. We’ve gone back afterwards for dress shirts, tailored and delivered as promised! I have recommended them to anyone and everyone to purchase or rentals, they are honest and genuine!

I was shopping for a suit, not renting a tuxedo so I can’t say much about that side of the business. They only had a single suit of my size and it was a rather cheap suit (~$ 250). If that’s what you’re looking for then sure. If not, then you won’t find what you need here.

I brought in a beautiful Zegna tuxedo to be altered last week and I am seriously impressed by their skills.
I get a ton of suits altered. On a recommendation, I opted to use Suit & Tux Boutique in lieu of my regular tailor (also a 5 star Unilocal business).
I am so happy that I did.
I love the way that they cut the tux. The legs are pegged, but not too tight; and, the jacket was taken in from the front panel as well as the back. Most tailors do one or the other — they did both. You can seriously tell the difference.
I brought in two Hugo Boss suits today to be taken as well. I’m excited to get them back.

Absolutely BEST PLACE EVER for a tux rental, a suit, or even just an alteration. Alex and Michael are super fast, friendly, and absolutely experts about the current trends, designers and what will fit your body best. We have rented many tuxes, purchased a suit, and recently had dress pants altered. Suit & Tux Boutique surpasses any other tux rental hands down. You just don’t find businesses like this anymore, and we will always go back!

All the suits are the same price but there’s not too many options. This turned out to be great though, because it became much easier to pick out a suit and they are all very nice. They have all the classic stylings but this is not the place if you’re looking for something exotic lol.
Alterations were fantastic.
We also rented shirt tie and pocket square. At first I was against the «paisley diamond white» color but once he out on the paisley it looked so good! They folded the pocket square for us so it looked on point for the wedding.
Staff gave us a lot of attention. Happy to support family businesses.
I think it would be great for prom rentals for kids who are getting their first suit and tux because of all the personal attention and they know what looks good! Surprisingly they were very up to date on the current fashion.

This is the first suit place I’ve been to but these guys made it an easy and stress free experience. Right when I walked in I told them I was looking for a business-​y type charcoal suit. Immediately the guy measured me up and chose out a perfect fitting suit. Luckily the suit fit me perfectly so it didn’t require any alterations but the pants were a little tight and long so that required alterations. Alterations cost extra on top of the price of the suit. Once I pick up my suit I’ll update on how the suit fits and feels.

I am a man of short stature (5’4″), so finding anything that will fit me properly is nearly impossible. So for a while, I’ve been wearing clothes that’s either too wide or too long.
A year ago, I bought a suit off the rack, and of course, it was a bit too big.
After researching many places, I found Suit & Tux Boutique. I took my suit in, they stuck a few needles in my suit, drew a few lines on my suit. Told me to come back in a week. A week later, I came back and put the suit back on again. It was perfect.
Now, I’ve had quite a few pieces of clothing altered here; from jeans to shirts, jackets to an overcoat. They made it all fit me perfectly. Their price isn’t cheap, but in terms of the service and the quality of work, they are excellent.
I haven’t purchased any clothing from them so I can’t give a review on that, but if you’re looking for a place to get your clothing altered/​tailored, this is the place.

Straight rip off… They quoted me $ 200 to get an alteration done on a jacket. They made it seem like it was very difficult so that they wouldn’t have to budge on the price. I just want everyone to know that their is a place call BEST ALTERATIONS on the corner of Camden and Bascom. Very good service friendly and was willing to do the same job for
$ 85. The. Work included tapering the side and hemming the sleeves.

I went here to buy a suit, thinking it would take a good 3 – 4 hours to find one. I walk in, immediately was greeted by Michael and he got right to work. He listened to what I wanted. He knew and showed me exactly what I was looking for and didn’t waste my time. I was in and out with in 45 minutes, that’s from picking suit, shirt, tie, and alteration measurements. I would definitely being going back in the future for further business.

I came here several weeks back after searching several department stores for a suit. Like many guys, I finally realized that the best place to buy a suit is a small store that specializes in them.
I found Suit & Tux on Unilocal and decided to come for the consistently amazing reviews. The store is very bright which allows you to really look at the suits, shirts, ties, etc. Fortunately, I was the only customer and got 1-​on-​1 attention. Something I didn’t get at the big department stores, in fact I don’t think I got any attention there, lol. I was greeted by Michael who right away came off as helpful in my quest for the perfect suit. He asked several questions to get a profile of me and immediately knew the suit for me.
It was a navy blue 2 piece suit that looked amazing and turned out to fit near perfect straight off the rack. The suit appeared high quality with a 150 thread count which for the price ($ 245) I felt was an excellent deal.
All alterations were done here and took about a week. When I showed up I tried the suit on and both Michael and I agreed that everything looked perfect. I purchased a matching tie and handkerchief for $ 44 that went well with the suit. The store has tons of dress shirts, but at a premium. Though I am sure they are high quality. I already knew of a department store that made shirts that fit me well so opted to stay on a budget for shirts.
Overall this was the perfect place. Michael knows the industry well, and his family has been in the business for generations. I got the personal attention I wanted, a low price, and satisfaction guarantee from Michael. Nothing more reassuring than that.
I highly recommend coming to Suit & Tux. My advice is to do your research and come with lots of questions. Michael is happy to answer. And just be advised that he’s very friendly and a good salesman, so if you have a budget, or know exactly what u want, don’t be afraid to stand your ground. And don’t skip the alterations, that’s the most important part.

This place is great. I went in here to rent a tuxedo for my schools winter formal. I went in about two weeks before the dance, and I was immediately greeted with a friendly face. The salesman, I forgot his name, made renting a tuxedo very relaxed and layer back. Within 15 minutes I was measured and out of there. For a basic tuxedo with no shoes it costs 100 and a rental with shoes its about 115. Pretty good for a high school students budget.
The pick up process was even better they help you try on your tux before you leave and it was great. He helped me get what I needed and it was overall a great experience. I highly recommend this place. I know for sure I’ll becoming back here for prom.

I was done with renting a tux every time my wife and I went on a cruise so I stopped here based on the Unilocal reviews.
Michael helped me and wow did he get it spot on! I was sized and custom fit for an awesome black tux for a very reasonable price.

I’ve gone to these guys for several years now. Michael is fantastic. The first time I went into his store, I expected it to be like any other store that tries to up-​sell you at all costs. As an attorney, I own more suits than any sane person should — yet, they get worn out and are a uniform — so I thought I knew everything about suits.
I walked in, and I was the one being pushy with styles. Michael obliged, helped me find exactly what I asked for, and then, having gained my trust, told me to oblige him on a suggestion. He picked out a few suits in very specific sizes and cuts, and had me try them on. Wow. Suits had never looked so good on me. And we had not even tailored them fully! From that point on, I’ve purchased all of my suits from the Tux Boutique.
Fast forward a few years, to 2014, and I’m getting married. I, of course, sent all of my groomsmen to Michael. Needless to say, the men looked fantastic when they were done. But here’s where the Tux Boutique earns a perfect five stars. THE DAY PRIOR to my wedding, Men’s Wearhouse (may they burn in hell for this) loses my tuxedo shirt. My Vera Wang wedding tuxedo shirt. They make every excuse under the sun about why they lost it, including blaming me for not having checked earlier in the week — I had checked many times earlier. They find a replacement of the shirt I need — a modern tuxedo shirt without ruffles, with the correct cuffs and tailored fit — and they tell me they can have it in two days. Yes, they completely ignore the fact that my wedding is the next day! They blame me, and say that’s the best they can do.
I drove to every last tuxedo shop in the bay area within 30 miles, and finally I found a shirt without the ruffles on the chest at Neiman Marcus. You guessed it, the shirt cost hundreds of dollars more than my original choice, but it was my only real option in this timeframe. I bought it, tried it on, and the fit was just not working with my Tuxedo. Thank god that the Tuxedo Boutique knows how to handle emergencies.
I called them, I explained my panic, and they stayed open late, tailored my new tux shirt to fit perfectly, and did it in a matter of hours. The wedding went off without a hitch, and the photos were perfect and without unsightly ruffled tuxedo shirts. Last, I get my bill, and they didn’t even charge me extra for the rush, last-​minute emergency job! They charged me $ 15! For literally disassembling a shirt completely and recreating a perfectly tailored tux shirt. I was expecting it to cost so much more! Any other store would have probably taken advantage of my situation and charged me four times more.
Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

Got a well made tux, (good quality material & accessories) & brand new looking shoes for a great price. Michael & Alex set us up and were very personable, friendly & professional. We were so impressed that we ended up buying an Italian made suit from them (also a can’t be beat price) that was beautifully made and the tailoring was great. Got a sharp looking tie and my son has his first suit! Never need to go to those other men’s suit/​tux stores, this is your Go To place. Best in customer service & price by far!
