highly recommend them! came here this AM to get a flat fixed. they could’ve easily taken my money and put a bandaid on a dead tire. but Miguel explained how bad off that tire was & thoroughly explained how the other tires were due (and they were; it had been awhile). he gave me a couple quotes and didn’t rush me into anything. got a very fair price, excellent service, and timely too. I was back in a couple hrs with 4 new tires installed. all balanced, and aligned. they even secured the spare back in its compartment. thank you Miguel and team at S & S for a great experience!

Very dishonest and rude customer service experience at this place today — June 11^th, 2016. Offered to perform free tire rotation if I paid for the higher grade oil change, which I agreed to only in case of the tire rotation would be done. At the end they couldn’t do the tire rotation due to them spotting a nail in one of the tires even though the deal was to work on my car only in case of the free tire rotation as well, otherwise they were not supposed to perform any type of service on my car without talking to me first. Instead they did the oil change without inspecting the tires first to make sure that the deal they sold can actually be granted.
Both the store manager and the sales manager of this place were yelling at me without ever hearing my concerns through. Instead they were making their own interpretations of what my concerns were and demanding from me to still pay the fees for the higher priced oil change even though they were not supposed to provide any service unless the combo deal (oil change along with the free tire rotation) could be performed. Also «the nail in the tire» thing happened twice in a row: when I brought in my other car about 6 months ago with the tire pressure sign on — they also pointed out the nail in the tire which at the time I went ahead and replaced all four tires at this location. This time I still paid the fee for the higher oil change just to get out of this place as I couldn’t take any longer my 67 year old mother (who was standing next to me) going through this madness. However, I took my business for the four tires replacement elsewhere to a professional business and never coming back to S & S Goodyear Tire and Auto Repair on Winchester blvd in Campbell again.

Came in early this morning for a battery and Mike gave me the hook up on price and he had the Interstate battery in stock… will be back for sure Thanks Mike

Long story short I was having a terrible week for tires. Saw these guys on a Monday and had a tire that was unsafe to put back on. Tried to let the donut spare do the trick until I could afford a new set later in the week however, the donut didn’t hold up :(Came in to them on a Wednesday crying and was taken care of and fast. Had a new set of tires on my car within a couple hours and was back on the road again without breaking the bank. Miguel was so helpful! Highly recommend these guys!

This place actually deserves 0 stars they totally destroyed my door and who ever worked on my car should be fired.
My mom really liked these guys. Nice guys.
But I only recommend you bringing in your car for a tire change or repair or if you have repairs for a old shitty car.
Due to my moms recommendation of honest guys. I brought my Audi in for a window regulator problem.
Guys were quick and told me everything that was wrong. Good until this point.
I noticed that the cars top door panel was a bit crooked and their were marks along the side of the window trim telling me that they had pushed (forced) the panel down to fit. Didn’t like it but didn’t bother to go back to complain about it. so I left it.
A few months later, the window regulator goes bad again. This time, due to my dads recommendation, took my car else where.
These guys told me and showed me that pieces in the panel were shoved back in and in the wrong position, bent a door mount panel, and the weather strip (that needs to be there in order to prevent water from leaking into the door) was not even put back properly. And the regulator they used was an aftermarket piece that tends to break easily.
The new shop fixed my window and put back pieces in the correct positions but the top panel won’t fit properly because S&S bent the metal door panels on the inside.
So I paid $ 600 for S&S to temporarily fix my window problem and completely destroy the door…
The new shop has quoted me $ 1500 for the rebuild of the door. WTF S&S…
I explained this to my mom and she isn’t taking her car back either. And you probably shouldn’t either… I mean for repairs. if you like your car.

The tires on my car made some strange whooping noise. I came to the shop once to do the tire rotation, balancing and alignment. The front desk guy told me that the shocks on 4 of my tires are out, and it needs 1600 $ replacement. Since my car had only 34 000 miles on it, I called the dealer and asked them to do the multipoint inspection. The dealer was so nice that they did it for free and found nothing. Then while replacing the tires in another shop, I was told that that nothing is out of ordinary. In other words: S&S was trying to sell me the service my car didn’t need. I would never go there again.

I used to live, literally, around the corner from these guys. I walked in one day to get a feel for the place and I thought I would give them a shot with pricing for my Acura RDX’s tires. The tires are rather expensive, but this place had the best deal. Ever since that experience I thought I would stick with shopping local and give this shop my business.
Let me just say this, this shop is owned by a local family. They have pictures of the kids around the shop and it really let’s you connect with a face, rather than a large corporation. I have brought them all my business as well as my parents vehicles. Mind you, my parents live in the central valley but I only bring my cars here.

— 3 whole sets of tires for 3 vehicles
— A set of some badass rims for my truck
— check engine lights
Some of the things they do:
— They go out of their way to give you a thorough explanation of everything
— They do plenty of recommendations, real recommendations, they don’t try the fear tactic to get you to spend more.
— Call them, they will give you advice via the phone
— They exemplify customer service
— Super professional
I have no issue referring any of my friends or family hear. Speak to Miguel, the shop manager, he is on point.
The more I’ve gotten to know these guys, the better it gets.

I stopped here because I needed new tires and saw that they carried several brands. I was expecting this to be an unpleasant experience but it turned out to be great. I was greeted by Sam, we looked at my car, discussed my driving needs and he helped me select the best tires from the brand I was shopping for. He was excellent at explaining everything in a easy to understand way.
I did not have an appointment, this was a walk-​in but Sam had my car turned around in 90 minutes. S&S delivers professional and courteous service and their prices are in line with market prices. I would certainly advise anyone I know to come here for their tire needs.

Honest mechanics and very fair pricing. In my case, lower price on shocks, tires and brakes than Pep Boys. Family owned, and treat customers with great respect. Sam and Miquel could not have been nicer to work with.

I’ve been going here since the beginning of the year for oil changes. They always did it pretty quick and at a good price too. I kept ignoring aligning my tires and had them done here since the mechanics and Sam (the usual front desk guy) showed how serious it was since it was balding my tires quickly that the metal would eventually show. We had the alignment done and Sam looked up the best priced tires for my car to install since my current ones were almost bald. I’ve done my research on labor and these guys charge the fairest in the south bay area. Would definitely recommend.

Went in about two weeks ago, was assisted within seconds. Sam was the gentleman who helped and answered all of my questions. Gave me an excellent quote, counldn’t have asked for better service. AND IT’S FAMILY OWNED!!!

Last week, I noticed my car making this loud screeching sound like metals clashing together. I knew it was due to my breaks so I knew it was time to change them.
Right off the top I already had a place in mind: S & S Tire & Automotive Service. When I arrived I was greeted by Miguel who worked on my car last time. He automatically knew my vehicle and remembers what he did with it and he was glad to help again. From start to finish, Mike made sure I was taken care of. He gave me an estimated time for wait and assured I’d be updated each time just so I was in good hands. Not to mention, Miguel would also give me tips on whats good to eat around the auto shop just in case I got hungry.
He got my info down and BOOM! worked on my car. As I was waiting, Miguel would come in-​n-​out of the garage letting me know what was happening. He would also keep giving me a more accurate time of finish as he worked on it. It took about an hr for it all to be done. My car sounded great again and this time I had no problems breaking down.
I feel confident coming here as always. Miguel does a great job keeping his guests updated and filled with info that is easy to understand. This place never fails! Thanks again Miguel!

we bought tires here while we were visiting from southern cal. we had a leak in a tire and were told it could not be repaired so we bought two new tires. We headed out of town early the next morning and as soon as we hit the freeway the car began to shake. I gave two stars instead of one because we were not able to go back to them to see if they could fix it, but come on… just do it right the first time. sloppy service. not pleased. will not go back and would not recommend.

Paid 20 $ groupon +4.65 disposal. (32 $ no coupon), was suppose to get oil change and tire rotation, they did the oil change and said my tires are too worn for a rotation. I sent pictures to my brother and he disagreed since they have decent threads, they are older but a rotation wouldn’t have made them «explode on the road» since both front and back had the same wear. My car was shaking a bit after 65 and I wanted to see if it would help. No matter how many times I asked for the rotation they refused. Said my wipers and air filter need changing (i just got new wipers a month ago!). So basically I paid 25 $ for an oil change and top up of general fluids. Not much of a coupon for me. I feel like they just add stuff in the end like other mechanics, especially since I’m a girl– I wont know a damn thing about cars. sorry not getting extra bucks from me!
Just checked the groupon: they are suppose to comment on my belts, hoses, breaks, and didn’t mention any of it.

Came into this place with a random but simple mechanical request expecting to be turned away. They were not able to fix my problem because it needed to be replaced but took the time and effort to trying to help me out without hesitation. I forget their names because I have a garbage memory but the staff is fantastic. I will be coming back here

I just want to say that this is the best tire shop around. Every time I come for air or rotation JAY is so helpful. It is his wonderful attitude that impelled me to write a 5 star review, which is well deserved.

I have a classic muscle car and was looking to have some place install some of the performance items I actually purchased online at various custom/​racing shops. I spoke with owner Mike Reiisieh and he was very accommodating and knowledgeable about what a person like me needed and how we care for our rides.
Mike instructed the shop manager Miguel to work with me on specifics. Once we agreed on a plan, I was introduced to a shop mechanic that has vast experience on the older model American cars. This is a huge plus in my book, since it is these mechanics that help keep the late model dream going. Let’s face it most newer cars will not make it past 10 years in today’s manufacturing world. Custom classics are just that ‘classics’, and they are special. I felt right at home leaving my custom with them and in working freely with the mechanic on specifics.
All the employees are very courteous and take pride in what they are working on. This S&S Goodyear can do just about everything for your ride. I witnessed may people coming and going, and they all seemed to be repeat and happy customers. That made me feel good knowing that this shop is trusted by many.
I want to thank Mike, Miguel, Sam, and Jay (The Mechanic) for a a great job on this project for my custom classic. It is a 1968 Chevy SS, and handles today like a Vette– incredible job!!! Thank you Mike R for all the help and support.

I went here because I had a nail in my tire and it couldn’t be replaced. I decided to buy two tires instead of just the one. They didn’t have them in stock at their store, but they called their other Sunnyvale store and they had only one. They brought it over from Sunnyvale right away, and then ordered the second one. I went back the following week to have the other one replaced. The service was great. They are very friendly, fast and easy to communicate with. What I liked most was that they didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t want or need,…unlike sears!
