My friend and I visited this location several time; it has come to out attention that the food and their drinks are not always made with love. it is a hit and miss. We always go to the Chicken Nachos with sour cream and guacamole and extra jalapeño on the site and a site salad. Some time there is enough chicken some it does not as well as the guacamole and other ingredients. The quantity is not well measure. The salad some time come with egg and some time it does has it or it has half of the portion. it is a hit and miss. The cocktails if it is pre by the bar tender is good if he goes to a break and however takes overs needs to be retrain in the mixology. There are some good day and bad day so it is after you to give a try and see how lucky you are.

My boyfriend, puppy and I enjoyed our late night dinner here at Rock Bottom. It was my first time. Outdoor seating was very nice, especially with the heaters on this cold night. We both ordered different pizzas, they were delish. Great service.

Speed: 2.0 Service 3.5 Food: 3.75 Ambiance: 3.0 Price: 4.0 Overall: 3.0 June 13th7PM, This bears saying first. This was our waitress’ very first serving shift after completing training. I will not begrudge her too much because a lot of this job comes from experience. I will, however, blame her trainers for any of her shortcomings. As I have iterated in the past, having come years as a server myself, I hold waitstaff to a higher degree of expectation. One of my biggest pet peeves, and the easiest one to rectify, is greeting your table within the first 2 minutes of being sat. You don’t even need to take an order. Just a simple, «Hello. I will be with you in a few minutes.» That greeting will assuage the table and buy you a world of time. It took over 5 minutes to be greeted. Also, the food took quite a while. Around 35 minutes. Now, if I was a higher class restaurant I would not have this expectation of food delivery. But Rock Bottom is a turn and burn establishment. Our waitress was super friendly and nice. She did forget one of our side dishes, but was quick to make up for it and got it promptly. The food itself was good. I had a pretty simple Hickory BBQ Chicken sandwich with cheese. IMO opinion, not too difficult to mess up. We also had a grilled chicken brochette which was quick good. The brochette was very good and it came with a monstrous side of broccoli. * $ 13.95 — Grilled bruschetta chicken(grilled chicken breast topped with fresh mozzarella and bruschetta tomatoes. served with grilled seasoned broccoli) * $ 9.95 — Hickory bacon chicken(grilled chicken topped with bbq sauce, hickory bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles) Rock Bottom is very sports-centric, which I like. Lots of TV inside with various programs. Being that, it can get quite loud inside. Especially on Monday night when the Warriors game was playing. So we sat outside where they have quite a bit of seating with heat lamps when it is the colder seasons. The view is not that great outside, all you get is a parking lot and cars going by, but I couldn’t care less about that. Honorable mention. Even though I did not have any beer this trip. I have had a lot of their beer. Their recopies change quite often. Which is good if there are beers you dislike, but sucks when they get rid of a favorite. I have always been a fan of their stout.

Sunday outdoor dining, early afternoon. Pretty slow service and was let down multiple times. First our waiter intentionally focused on serving a larger party which were seated after my friend and I placed our order. The steak sauce was incorrectly served and another server had to help with swapping it out be a use ours wasn’t returning anytime soon. Being a hot day we finished our beverages pretty early on yet we were asked for refills by the time we asked for the check. As for the steak, the bourbon and the«whiskey» sauce(I was given gorgonzola sauce) came on the side. Too bad the food and service didn’t meet our expectations.

It was better this time… Numerous other reviews have commented on inconsistent service at this restaurant, about inattentive servers and very long waits for food. We have also observed(and been frustrated) about these issues here. However, we visited last Saturday, sat out on the patio, and I noticed that, in addition to our server making the rounds, they appeared to have a couple of other workers walking around and keeping an eye on tables. The result was that whenever either of our glasses got empty, we quickly had someone checking to see if we wanted refills — sometimes overlapping each other! Food took a *little* while to come out, but not enough that I would have even thought about it, if not for our history here. Everything that we ordered was still hot and fresh when we received it, and delicious as it always has been. Now we *did* arrive 15 minutes after they opened, so don’t know what things were like once they got busier, but it did appear that they were actively trying to address past reputation. I hope that continues to be a trend here. We drive down here from Fremont, which is a 30 – 40 minute drive depending on traffic, so we really want to be rewarded for the effort.

Server was attentive, food was decent, had Cajun fish tacos, my cocktail was excellent. Super Busy place and overall awesome service. The only thing is the women’s bathroom needed some cleaning, paper towels everywhere. The size of the place is huge.

This could have been a one star, but for me, its hard to get that bad. My son and I were seated immediately. That was good. The server brought us drinks quickly and took our food order. My son and I played the make a box game on the kids menu until he knew he was going to loose and cheated. The food came reasonably quickly. Our server realized that we had no utensils or napkins and went to find some. We sat hungry with food sitting there. It seemed longer than I would expect before she came back with napkins and forks. Not good. We started eating and my son didn’t like his food. Too spicy and he said it was cold. My food(beef tips) was tasty. But than it got worse. I bit into something hard. I take it out of my mouth and it was a hard, sharp, clear piece of broken plastic. Maybe a piece of jar? Really bad! I stopped eating, no more appetite. The manager handled the situation correctly. He apologized, offered us other food, and comped both meals.

I’d like to preface this with the fact that the food itself is decent. It’s the same quality as any other large chain restaurant. Nothing special, but not bad. I’m rating this at 1 star because the service is abysmal. We went to dinner tonight on a Wednesday at 9pm(late night happy hour). It was not busy, and we sat for 1.5 hrs waiting for our food. A father and his young son sitting next to us(somehow they allow children in the bar?) who got there 30+ min after us got their food first, and left way before we even got our meal. Our waiter visited our table 2 times(to take the order and to bring our drinks) and did not check on us once despite passing our table numerous times… Finally another waitress saw that we were extremely annoyed and offered to close out our table. I don’t understand what our waiter could have possibly been doing not being able to check on us for an hour considering they have food runners doing the bulk of the work(meaning all the server needs to do is take the order, check up on tables, and close out their tabs). This is the third time we’ve had terrible service here, and the last time we will be choosing RB. I highly discourage anyone from choosing to eat here; just choose another chain and spare yourself the headache.

Hmmmm interesting. Has the Mgmt changed? The is has been a comedy of errors, horrible service, not even napkins and silverware… food not up to standard starting with the appetizer, nachos but all the chips other than the top layer was in little itty bitty pieces… Then… drum roll… A HUGE hair in the food. No apologies, nothing, so disappointed. Wow, expected better and will never ever recommend them again. A week later and no response from the Mgmt. Obviously they don’t care. That’s ok, I usually recommend them, now it will be the complete opposite. As I work in real estate I think my opinion will reach many ears.

If you want suburban, bad beer and bad food… You’re in the right place. I’ve been to Rock Bottom’s in the past, and in other states and the menu must have changed because everything is just cheap and commercial.

Went here last Saturday for a birthday dinner for a friend. Surprisingly not very busy so we got seated right away. 2.5 stars because of these: Husband and I got beer and it was not very cold. I’m no beer expert but I know beer is supposed to be cold. Come on you are a brewery! I ordered fish and sticks, it was okay. Husband got the jambalaya. His complaint is that it lacks layers of flavor just how jambalaya should be. It was just salt. We weren’t asked if we wanted dessert. So another business got our money for that.

First time trying this place out. Had their cobb salad and it was as you would expect of a large restaurant — large portion size but delicious. They have an extensive menu almost like a Chili’s, TGI Fridays, or a Red Lobster. I was in the mood for salad so didn’t pay much attention to the other things on the menu. Apparently they serve flat bread style pizza and burgers because that’s what my co-workers ordered.

I’m done with this place. Food is great. Beer is even better. It’s the waiter with salt and pepper, curly hair, who continually touches me, rubs my shoulders when he sneaks up behind me. What gives? I’m a straight married man. I have plenty of gay and lesbian friends who know respect. Why is this place employing someone who gropes their customers? Until he’s gone, I’m never going back, and almost hope Rock Bottom gets sued. And for you ladies out there who have experienced sexual harrassment, I can now relate.

My friend and I visited here on a sunday before we caught a movie. The reason I’m giving it such a low rating, is because I charged my meal and when I got my credit card statement I noticed that it was higher then what i left(I ALWAYS round up to make it an even dollar amount) and my bill was now about 84cents higher. I checked with my friend and he advised that he noticed the same thing on his credit card statement. I contacted my credit card company and they advised to contact the restaurant(which I will be contacting the manager). I know its less then a dollar, but if they have a person there doing it to us, they are probably doing it to other people. It would be advised that anyone who has visited there recently and used a credit to check there statement.

This place had so-so reviews but I still wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, food quality and price were just disappointing. I ordered the bourbon-glazed sockeye salmon(definitely sounded better than it tasted), with roasted veggies and fresh fruit as sides($ 17). Food took at least 20 minutes to come out and wasn’t even hot. The bourbon glaze wasn’t too sweet but definitely didn’t add too much flavor to the already bland tasting salmon(definitely was missing salt and pepper). The salmon fillet was really really dry – almost like eating cardboard – and small in proportion to the price. The veggies and fruit were okay-nothing spectacular(and you can’t really screw it up). Overall, an unhappy meal for a foodie adventurer like me who usually gets excited about food and new places. Probably going to BJ’s for my fix of a «restaurant and brewery,» which by the way, has way more beer selections and better quality food.

Do I like Rock Bottom? Not particularly. Service average. Ambiance/crowd: average. But I am thankful because that’s the only easy full bar I can get some shots or cocktails in the plaza. I only go there when I am stuck in Pruneyard and I want a quick easy shot to pre game.

Came here with some friends after we did some wedding dress shopping for my friend. Breweries usually excite me because I love beer! Be also warned the parking lot of very busy during lunch time and my friends & I took a real long time trying to find parking until we settled into parking in the parking garage. OK, but this place was real average. It was kinda crowded at lunchtime on a Saturday, so my group of 6 seated ourselves in the bar area. We all decided to just share a bunch of appetizers. Service wasn’t very attentive and the food seem to take forever to come out. I usually try to be patient because I assume if food takes longer, the quality is better and it’s not pre-cooked or whatever. We ordered: Asiago Artichoke and Crab Dip: Pretty good, I expected this to come out with chips but it came out with crostini. Calamari and Pepper Rings: average and good calamari. Nothing else to day. Brewery Nachos: HUUUUUGE portion. Probably perfect to share for a party of 4. But average tasting, nothing great. Made-to-Order Guacamole: Didn’t get to try. Classic Mac ‘N Chicken: Probably my favorite, I thought it was really cheesy and delicious. With a few drinks ordered, our group of 6 paid about $ 20 each. Not so bad. I ordered the wheat beer and it was good. The beer portion is huge! I don’t think they even have size options as I was never asked and I was served a huge glass, so just beware of that. Overall, the food was really average, probably would compare to being just a little better than going to an Applebee’s. I might be back to try some of their other beers and possibly a burger. Maybe we just didn’t order the right items, but there’s nothing luring me to coming back anytime soon. (Oh, they also have TVs everywhere if you’re interested in watching sports here. They were playing the Sharks game when we were there.)

Tried the deal $ 5 for 6 beer tasting. Tried the calamari, buffalo wings, and nachos. Food is your normal bar food. Prices are normal too. Plenty of bar tables and chairs.

There were some enticing entrees and appealing appetizers on the menu, so we decided to try the place out. The service was decent, but nothing outstanding. We ordered the nachos, which exceeded our expectations. I had a stuffed poblano pepper, which I liked, but not as much as the nachos. I would give this place a higher rating, because I thought it was a cool scene– until I took a trip to the bathroom– what a pigsty! I judge hard on the bathrooms, and this one was one of the worse I’ve seen in awhile. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like if they can’t maintain the bathroom.

I have been here twice, one on a weekday and one time over the weekend, both during lunch hours. It always seems packed at lunch time. I heard that the burgers are pretty tasty there. So, naturally, I had to have one. I had the 2AM burger with fries. Yes, it was a lot of food. They do ask how well do you want the patty. I finished the burger. The food and service is consistent. I know exactly what I’m going to get when I walk in that door.

Leckeres Essen, Nettes Ambiente. Die Bierauswahl ist auch in Ordnung. Das Texas Firehouse Steak sollte man mal probiert haben.
