I work with couples and individual adults who are struggling with relationship and communication issues, depression, and anxiety. My approach is empathetic, practical, and geared toward helping you make your life be more like you want it. I give you a place to talk about what’s happening, look at it with a fresh viewpoint, make decisions about what could change, and start making changes.

While I see a wide variety of clients, one of my focus areas is parents of young children. Having a child changes everything. It can change the parents’ partnership in ways they didn’t expect, or it can knock us for a loop individually. I help moms and dads of young children define and enjoy their new role as parent and partner.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have been counseling couples, individuals, families, teens, and children since 2008. I was born and raised in the south Bay Area. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Davis and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University. After working in non-​profit fundraising for nearly 10 years, my fascination with people’s life stories led me to choose a career helping my clients find new ways to approach their problems.
