Tim and his friendly crew were great through the whole process. I have a metal roof and wanted to make sure I found an installer I would feel confident about. I originally found out about O’Sullivan Green Solar as a referral from the roofing company. Tim was able to confirm that his crews have installed many systems on metal roofs, was able to show me pictures of several of them, and even provided references that I was able to call and confirm (they all raved about their systems).
Tim did a great job of walking me through the ins and outs of getting a solar system installed, both from the financing side and from the technical side. I ended up selecting O’Sullivan from about 6 different companies. O’Sullivan’s prices were very competitive and his customer service through the process put him a cut above the rest in my opinion. My system is now installed and working flawlessly.

We interviewed /​considered 6 Solar companies all told, including the Big Four. Except for OSullivan Green Solar, all had fairly high pressure sales tactics and some were evasive when asked direct questions. Also we endured numerous ‘follow-​up’ sales calls from the others (even after informing them that we had made an alternate decision). Tim was forthright and honest from our initial meeting to the finish line. No pressure whatsoever, just honest answers and willing to accommodate our schedule, not press to accommodate theirs. We required a new roof before the solar could go up, so he worked directly with the roofing company to ensure a smooth installation. I didn’t have to do much except write a couple checks and sign some documents. He coordinated everything else, electrical, inspection, SunEdison engagement, remote monitoring, the whole works. (OSullivan Green Solar’s relationship with SunEdison and their ability to monitor my installation remotely for the whole 25 years was a key factor in our decision also.) The guys were only on the roof for two days to install, and meticulously cleaned up after themselves. We couldn’t be more happy about our decision to engage with OSullivan Green Solar. We have been looking for the right deal and equipment that met all our requirements. We wanted quality with a cost that was under our current average electric bill. We want to own it and pay it off in 10 years or less. Tim was about the 8^th company we spoke to. The cost was less, it was simple. No additional maintenance contracts or extra equipment we didn’t need. He knew the competition and could explain the differences. We finally moved forward.
The install was a week ahead of schedule and handled without us being there. Very pleased with the low pressure sales and seamless install.

I got quotes from 3 companies locally and ended up hiring OSullivan Green Solar solar because of the product offering, solar knowledge and the interaction I had with the owner. Tim answered all my questions and the meetings we had were educational vs following some boring script.
The benefit of working with OSullivan Green Solar was the fact that they were able to get our system installed much quicker than the other companies I quoted, accommodating my every request, We had our site visit complete in 3 days and installation complete in 4 weeks. They handled everything (permits, paperwork, installation, dealing with the city inspector and getting the net metering contract set with PG&E. I just wrote the checks and signed a few documents.
The whole process was very quick, and we got our solar installed in 2 days without interruptions. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional and very quiet, I could not tell they were on my roof.
