With a combined 48 years in the security industry, Co-​owners David Vlamis and Brian Elliott have been operating Orchard City Lock and Safe in the City of Campbell since 1992. Previously located at he corner of Dillon and Campbell Ave, the store now resides on Bascom Ave. between Dry Creek Road and Campbell ave. {Next to Subway and across from 7−11}.

Used to recommend these guys to everyone. My company has been using them for the last 3 years for our customers key and lock needs. They do good, efficient work.
But… When I needed a key for my Lexus 4-​door sedan cut, I became very disappointed. I brought in a key I had purchased online because of the age of the car (16 years). I told Dave, the owner, that I only needed it Cut because I would do the programming myself. He spent a total of 15 minutes cutting the key and then testing it in the car to make sure it worked in all locked. Gave him a credit card, signed the slip and left. It wasn’t till I got home that I saw that he charged me $ 85.00 for that 15 minutes of work. Is cutting a key with No programming involved really worth $ 340.00 an hour??? Sorry to say my company has taken all it’s business elsewhere where cutting that key would have been merely $ 25. Was it worth the Gouge to lose a customer? I think not…

Orchard City Lock & Safe is by far the best company in its field in the Bay Area. I went there for a specific brand of safe and David helped me in customizing it to fit my exact needs. If you’re looking to purchase a real bonified secure safe (not a Costco or Liberty safe) with a lifetime guarantee then Fort Knox is the only way to go. Just do a little research on your own and you’ll educate yourself and learn that it’s one of the best. Then go see David and he’ll walk you through picking out the best one for you. Orchard City Lock & Safe is the most reputable lock and safe company I’ve found. David is an expert in his field and is very detailed oriented to ensure the delivery is punctual and the installation is done perfectly. When he leaves you fell like you got more than your money’s worth. Outstanding service!

Responsive, skilled, and reasonably priced. We just had the locks changed for our entire company that included master keys with several different slave locks and two locations. Orchard City came out immediately to appraise our job and give a price estimate. They returned to do the work when scheduled and were quick and thorough. They were even able to our second location 40 miles away, allowing us to update our locks with only one vendor. Quick, easy and painless. Thanks Orchard City.

Highly skilled professionals solved my problem with a smile.
My KTM 950 Adventure decided to eat 1⁄3 of the key in the belly of the right fuel tank cover. After fully disassembling the over-​designed fuel cap, I tried in vain to remove the key shard from the lock barrel. Time for a professional!
After searching Unilocal for a non-​mobile locksmith (store front locksmith) I called a couple mobile shops. They both recommended Orchard.
Dave greeted me warmly and quickly summed up the problem. After 15 minutes tinkering in the lab full of special tools, the key shard was removed and two new keys were cut. The KTM is very happy.

This review is LONG overdue. I wanted to acknowledge the awesome job they do. I called them in a panic! I had my identity stolen so I needed to re-​key the house. They were able to come quick, re-​key the house, and make extra keys on the spot! These keys actually work (unlike Home Depot). There were a little hiccups in the beginning like me forgetting about the master key needed, which I have in a secret location. He patiently waited while I retrieved the master key! The job was done super fast! I feel a little more relieved that we got new locks on the door!

Out of the blue the electronic lock on our safe stopped working. I tried several different things suggested by the company I purchased from, including changing the battery, nothing worked. I finally got it open, removed the contents and left the door open.
I called 2 other companies I was quoted $ 200 — $ 450 minimum to fix the safe, service call, lock replacement, other parts, etc. Dave at Orchard City Lock & Safe said I can bring the door in, he will diagnose the problem and go from there. He cleaned some parts inside the lock which fixed the problem and picked up the door up the same day. Best part… he charged m $ 10, saying it did not take much time. Other companies probably would not have been so honest and I would have still paid $ 200 for the service call alone (they did not offer for me to bring the door to them).
I was so impressed with the level of service I received and their professionalism.

I found this place on Unilocal.I had to make a copy of a safe key. The key was smaller than your house key therefore Home Depot couldn’t make a duplicate. I found Orchard City on Unilocal based on the positive reviews. The gentleman made the key fast and at a reasonable price. I had a number of errands to get done that morning so I was happy to see that they opened at 7:30am that weekday I also inquired about regular keys — 3 keys for $ 10. If you want to get fancy with your keys they also offer ones with designs, however they cost a little more. I’m coming here for all my future key needs.

I read alot of good reviews about Orchard City lock and went there to have a key cut for my vehicle to lock or unlock if I get locked out. Sadly, the employee guy told me he won’t cut the key and it will cost $ 75 dollars regardless I want it micro-​chip or not. He also refuse to cut the key I brought as well. To add insult, the employee guy there was very rude and refuse to even let me finish my sentences, he just kept repeating either his «assign speech» or having a bad day and pretty much gave that place a complete bad name. The employee was also very creepy too. Sadly, I went to another place and the guy cut the key and I was out of the place in less then 10 minutes.

They had to order the locks I needed. The locks arrived in 2 days. I made an appointment for the same day. The locksmith arrived on time. The installation and re-​keying was done in an hour. The workmanship was excellent! I have also had spare keys made there in the past. They always worked 1st time, every time!

I called Orchard City Lock & Safe yesterday because they are down the street from my business, and I wanted to support a local business. They came out in less than 24 hours and fixed my lock issue that another bay area locksmith company said could not be fixed with out replacing the whole lock. Orchard City Lock & Safe also referred me to an auto lock smith Hernandez Locksmith
to fix a issue I had with a auto lock he was out to fix my auto lock issue within 2 hours thanks for all the help.

My first time here today! I had keys made that couldnt be done at OSH or Home Depot. This place is a great find! The prices were fair, 3 keys for $ 10. Dave one of the owners was extremely helpful. I dont have a need to buy a safe but if I did, this is where I would go along with any lock and key needs. Lets support our local small businesses!

The easiest errand I ever ran. Fast, efficient and to perfection, this location copied 4 entire sets of keys, grouped them and slapped them on a keychain in less than five minutes. Reasonably priced and with kind staff, this place is better than waiting in line at home depot or other location. Will return again for any lock or key problems.
