As an employer, I don’t think Nelson Staffing is up to par compare to other staffing agency. They are very slow to respond, and actually filter their phone calls. I had another person from the office call and surprisingly the agent picked up.
If you are an employer and looking to get some quality service out of Nelson Staffing, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I have worked with both Nelson and Robert half for a job search. Nelson is really bad in my opinion based in my experience. I worked with a guy named Tim in Campbell, he didn’t return calls or follow through with his promises or even want to meet when I asked. Kind of a joke.
Robert half is excellent. They have high quality jobs and candidates. They are great people, they care, they interview candidates in person and understand the need and who is a good fit, have higher quality jobs and people from my experience.

Most reccomended!!! Just talk to Naomi Valenzuela she had my brother in law working within 2 days and still there!

I have had the worst experience with Nelson Staffing. I was told to email Naomi about a position and they would get in contact with me. It has now been a week and nobody has returned my phone calls or messages. They are very unprofessional and don’t follow through with what they say. I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone. I can’t imagine what the rest of this process is like if this is how unprofessional they are with the initial sign up process.

Nelson Staffing is the best hands down, especially Naomi. I work with many people who have obstacles hindering them and even with those barriers Naomi has been able to place most of them. I think it takes someone who really cares about her job and the people she works with to accomplish what she has with people from my program. We applaud you Naomi and Nelson Staffing!

I have been looking for a job and a friend of mine recommended I go through Nelson Staffing. Since being registered with them I am constantly being called for assignments. The gal that helped me is named Naomi Valenzuela. If you go there ask for her she is really nice and takes her job really serious. She really went out of her way to freshen up my resume for me, and she did not have to do that! Today I just found out I got a permanent job that starts next week, and I am so happy! Thank you so much Naomi I owe it all to you:)

I have had the best service at Nelson, all of the staff is friendly and caring. I recently registered with them and I’m so happy. The lady who helped me has the best attitude and cares about her job. Naomi Valenzuela is very efficient in everything she does for me, from helping me with updating my resume in a more professional way, from calling me weekly with updates and sending me on jobs that are just what I’m looking for. I now found something I like and on my way to being in a permanent position. Exactly what I requested NAOMI worked hard and did not stop until she found it for me ! She is truly an asset to this company and I would refer her to any of my friends. And I recommend them! She is truly a good person and wants to help people and loves her job, it shows. Nelson is lucky to have her !! Thanks Naomi!

After using Nelson in the past, and having one of their people say that I was one of the best candidates they ever had – I thought I would try their tech division to re-​enter the job market after a hiatus.
Completely useless for finding a job with a good company now. :(

In October 2009 I responsed to a recruiting fair advertised on Craigslist. In sending them an email, I was immediately contacted by telephone and made an appointment with an Account Manager for Executive Admin positions. My first impression of the Account Manager was very positive throughout the enrollment process. Unfortunately, that’s were it stopped.
In the past 8 months, I have not received a single phone call about temp or full-​time opportunities. I recently found out that my Account Manager is no longer working for Nelson Staffing. What’s worse, the Account Manager’s replacement never called me to introduce his/​herself. For all I know my file is in the trash.
All of the time I’ve invested to enroll with Nelson Staffing combined with the bi-​weekly emails to my Account Manager have all been a complete waste of time!
