Thank you so much for making my grandfathers chair look brand new. It was from the late 1800’s. They were very helpful, professional, polite and reasonable. You made me happy!

The owner is PHENOMENAL he took one look at the table piece my grandfather and I brought in and gave us a price(which was NOT expensive) brought it into his shop and went to work on it. He even took the time to joke around with my old man before we left. I recommend this company for any furniture repairs!

I had some refinishing done, and I had to think about what tips would be useful to fellow Unilocalers. Ok here’s the deal: the craftsmanship is very good, and the prices are reasonable. I think you will be pleased with the outcome, provided that you don’t expect this is Nordstrom’s in terms of service. Just remember that you are there to get the work done well at a good price. Don’t expect: friendly greeting, to be called when your piece is done, any kind of chit chat. You may even feel that they are being downright rude. Just ignore that –they are old school woodworkers. I’d say, support your local craftsman and go to the mall if you want someone to treat you like a customer. My work was very good and they seem like salt of the earth folks. The older fellow is actually hard of hearing.

After accidentally gouging the wooden footboard of our pride-and-joy bed, I sought recommendations from the fine gentlemen who finished our kitchen cabinets. They did not hesitate to recommend a local craftsman. It’s not often that I’m motivated to spend my spare time making recommendations but I whole heartedly recommend Livingston and Sons at 355 E Mcglincy Ln # C Campbell, CA95008 (408) 371‑0661 After touring their fine museum of WW2 artifacts, I left my headboard with them confident that I would not regret the decision. Low and behold what a pleasant day it was when I went down there a few days later and picked up the piece BETTER than new! It was a flawless job and an excellent price. It’s so rare these days that one can enjoy the pride of workmanship demonstrated by true craftsmen!
