Illusions Activewear manufactures fun, fashion-forward practice and competition swimwear and leotards for individuals, as well as for teams. All of our products are made in the USA; Campbell, CA. Our factory show room is open to the public.

History

Established in 1994.

Illusions has been manufacturing and selling swimwear, leotards and activewear since 1994.

We started out making custom swimwear and leotards for local swimmers and gymnasts. With each design, we flirted with the limits of creativity. Soon after, the operation evolved, we started making everything from cheerleading outfits to horse vaulting uniforms – basically anything that stretches.

The evolution of Illusions Activewear has been surprising, exciting and fun! Having an abundant and diverse inventory of hand-selected premier fabric, allows us to have something for everyone.

Today, we are focused on where we started; making fun, fashion-forward swimwear, leotards and activewear for our customers… far and near

We pride ourselves on the great customer service, being woman owned and operated and manufacturing a quality product that is «Made in the USA».

I got a premade and custom made dance audition outfit from here. I love the quality and the owners are super nice!
My only complaint is that I bought Large sized shorts, and custom made a Medium top. (and called that day to double confirm my order, because the sizes were different and I was worried I didn’t clarify that enough) When I received the order, I realized that the top was a Large instead of a medium.
This isn’t that big of a deal, because the Large fits just fine! If it didn’t, I would have called to complain and I am sure they would have resolved the issue for me! They have great customer service!
I would just recommend double checking your order after you receive it, to make sure it is the correct size.
I would recommend this LOCALLY owned store (support local businesses y’all!) to any of my friends!

If you want a fun swim suit that you probably won’t see on anyone else this is your store. I have ordered swim suits for our swim team for the last few years and I have to say our suits are the best! Illusions is always willing to do custom fits and are very accommodating. I love that they are made right there in the shop.

Found this little swim wear shop on a referral from a friend who is a long time swimmer. The suits come in cute fits for athletic swimmers. Fun prints and colors too. They let me design a custom suit for an extra $ 10. I picked a top and a bottom then selected the fabric for the suit and trim. It’s going to take 4 weeks but I’m so looking forward to my perfect suit! Great customer service :)

The main theme here is SUPER! Super nice! Super Patient! Super Helpful! I got a uniform done here from my work, and they listened to all my needs/worries and truly made the uniform fit me perfectly. They even let me come back when I felt a part of my uniform was too big, and fixed it in a couple days without question or fees! I wish all retail stores produced the same quality of customer service, and products.

I have been coming here for years and years for my swim workout suits. The material and designs are SO much fun! And compared with other brands (speedo, nike), they are a great price. Last time I was here they had polyester suits for the first time, which I was extremely excited about. I bought one and it is still going strong even after 4 months of wearing it almost everyday. The lyrcra suits don’t last quite as long, but that’s to be expected, and my illusions suits always lasted just as long or longer than my other ones.
They always provide wonderful service to top it all off. If you are a swimmer in the South Bay you HAVE to check this place out!

What a great find! After admiring Coach Susie’s amazing lap swimming bikinis for a few seasons, I finally checked this place out. Kind of a challenge getting into the store as they are only open M-F until 5, but worth it. The ladies working there were helpful and really nice. Well made, thoughtfully styled suits for form and function. 3 different styles give you a choice from full coverage to showing a little skin. Botttoms include a draw string and the tops have a bottom band to insure they stay put. They also make one piece suits and do custom work. Lots of different patterns/colors playfully paired together. Gone are the days of lap swimming in a boring, ugly NIKE bikini. I only wish Courtside’s pro shop would carry this line!!!
