Classy Nails 3

NEVER will I ever come here again. $ 30 (not including tip) for shellac that lasted not even a week? With knowing that filing the nail after shellac makes it peel, I told her not to file. She insisted she «do a little to make better» and she just started filing. Well what do you know 3 days later it’s lifting, and lifting leads to chipping off, now my nails look horrible and I just wasted $ 30, not including tip. Their plan worked, like it does at EVERY nail salon, file it, it’ll lift and the client will come back to get them done again. Well I won’t be going here any more, I’ll go elsewhere, thanks!
*it was Gelish brand shellac too which I’ve had last up to 3 weeks before so that’s how I know it was their technique. Check out the photos I uploaded as well.

When I’m in town I go see Tiffany. Out of all the years I’ve had my nails done (acrylic, gel, or shellac for 25+ years), Tiffany is THE BEST technician that has worked on my nails. I call about two to three weeks in advance for an appointment to make sure I get her. She doesn’t talk much, but is really sweet.

Blah. I will not be coming back here.
My sister wanted to go somewhere a little nicer than your typical nail salon for her pre-​wedding pampering so we went here. She tried to call to make an appointment for the four of us several weeks in advance and they just told her «oh it’s too soon to make an appointment, just call closer to the day.» So she called again on Monday of that week and they told her again it was too soon and to call the day before. For a bride this is super stressful! Nothing worse than trying to plan out all of your wedding stuff and to have someone not schedule you because it’s inconvenient for them. How hard is it to write down that you have four women coming in on a Friday so you don’t get booked up?
Then when we did the actual nails I was just not impressed. I got gel and several of my nails were filed down length wise too far, making them look short and stubby. My nails were pretty long when I came in. Plus a bunch of them were crooked! Less than 1 week later the gel nails were already peeling so I just pulled them off with ease. I know they try not to file down too far to damage your nails but they should at LEAST last 2 weeks.
They kept trying to upsell my sister do to gel too, even though she has super healthy nails that she didn’t want to damage and also had her color picked out months in advance.
For somewhere that is supposed to be at a bit of a higher level, Classy Nails did not hit the mark for me. Will skip next time.

Everyone in the salon are very professional, they make you feel welcome, very friendly and always remembers her customers, especially Annie, Jack and Jennifer really go above and beyond for… I always receive amazing manicure and pedicure best waxing services here!!! CLASSY NAIL looks fabulous and prices are very competitive. I feel confident to recommend this salon to my friends and colleagues. By far the best Nail Salon in the greater Bay Area.

I love Classy Nails!!! I have been coming here for a couple years now with my mom and the owners are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Annie is always able to squeeze in an appointment for us whenever we need it. I made a last minute appointment for a party of six as a surprise spa day for my friend and even though we were running late they stayed past closing for us. We were so appreciative. They are very reliable and always do a good job. My nails come out looking spectacular each time. Jennifer does an incredible job no matter what you ask her for. It can be a little pricey but I think it is worth it because they give good massages and take their times with your nails. I would recommend this place to someone who is looking for a simple, classic mani/​pedi and a relaxed day at the spa.

Worst experience. I only checked the good reviews on Unilocal and went there. Bad mistake! I remember many people were saying «good massage» «expensive but money worth» something like that so I thought nothing to lose to try.
I made an appointment on Saturday with my gf but that meant nothing. They overbooked and had to wait like 15min. Then this old lady started working on massage & caring cuticles… basically she wasn’t doing anything. She was on the phone most of the time while touching my feet and just applying massage salt and rubbing my legs. Pretending like working on my feet and trying to remove cuticles but she did nothing. She was basically sitting in front of me and talking and talking with someone on the phone for about 15min. Then said some other girl will work on pedicure… thank goodness!!! I really liked the young girl did my pedicure but I paid $ 35 for design plus tips. Felt ripped off for the first 20min part. Beware of that old lady with glasses !!!

Love this place! The ladies are friendly, they take walk-​ins quickly, and the manicures and pedicures, including gel are excellent. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for years, most of the time it is with a few girlfriends. They are always very accommodating to get us together. We always call & make an appointment.
My pedicures last a few weeks & am always pleased with the job they do. Very friendly staff.
There have been a few times I have gone in & asked for a manicure & specifically asked them NOT to trim my cuticles since they splinter & bleed when trimmed. Before I know it, they are trimming my cuticles. So I have to stay on top of it.
Other than that, great little spot

I love this nail salon and all the ladies in it! This place was recommended by a friend of mine but I thought that $ 25 for a pedi was a bit steep because I can usually get a good one for $ 18 – 20. But I wanted to give it a try, so I went in. After my first experience, I knew I would be back. I got the mani/​pedi and loved it.
They all do such a wonderful job, taking their time to pamper you. When they massage your legs, they do it for a good 3 – 4 minutes on each leg. Then they use hot towels and wipe down your legs and… well, you get the idea. I was just in yesterday and I spent a good 70 minutes in the chair with them working on me for 60 of those minutes. Very relaxing.
So if you don’t have to be anywhere in a hurry, please stop in and check this place out.
One last thing– everything is clean and the massage chairs work great. :)

I’ve been here a few times, and while they are fast and efficient I think the atmosphere could be better. I was a walk in and I was seated at what is essentially their reception desk doubling as an additional station. My manicure was interrupted multiple times so that the technician could give change to customers, answer the phone, change appointments etc. I appreciate that they accept walk ins, but I would have gladly waited 15 – 20 minutes If I were able to have a more attentive /​less awkward experience.

I moved here from Southern California and I was so distressed to leave my favorite manicurist who I had been going to for many years. I walked into this salon because it was near my house and they were so welcoming and wonderful. They are so sweet and do a fantastic job!

I always come here for pedicures, mainly because my friend is SUPER picky, and they do an awesome job! Very relaxing, too :)

When I go to a nail salon this is what I look for: nail polish that isn’t dried up, proper sterilization procedures (meaning packaged instruments), massage chairs, and great hand/​feet massages, and good work. This place has it all. I always have a lot of cuticle to clean up, they triple check to make they got it all. This salon waits for the first coat to dry before placing the second coat, great massages. They take there time, friendly, professional, and great work!!!

This is hands down my favorite nail place from Santa Cruz to San Jose. It’s right by where I live and is super convenient. Parking can be a bit of a pain, so get there early (that’s the pruneyard for you)!
Make an appt first or call ahead to see if they have openings. They are particular if you come in with two people and haven’t called ahead/​made an apt.
The actual mani/​pedi experience is wonderful. They are slow, calm and do a great job. The nail salon is usually quiet, which I enjoy. I don’t like all the yick-​yack that goes on at nail salons.
They also have a large TV, which usually has HGTV playing or a movie. The husband always does my gel/​shellac manicure. He is very precise and very kind.

I love coming here to do my nails seriously I am so picky with my nails. I have gone to a lot of nail places and this place is by far the best place to get your nails done. All the workers take their time to make sure you are satisfied with the shape of your nail and I like how they ask you how long you want your nails.
They have massage chairs if you get a pedicure. They also massage your hands if you get a manicure which is a plus. I always get the shellac gel nail which they have a lot of colors to choose from. My nails always lasts at least two to three weeks.
Even though it’s a little pricey but it’s totally worth it! You really get your money’s worth.

I have been going here for almost 5 years and in the last year or so I am finding that this place just doesn’t cut it. Save your money and go elsewhere. They always over book and you wait 15 to 20 minutes after your appointment. Their quality of work is also not great for the price you pay. My shellac manicures are often too thick causing them to peel within 1 week. My cuticles are left ragged not clean. They may have remodeled but the place is still shabby and looks not sanitary. The last thing I will say is that it’s really disgusting to watch these nail techs eat their food right next to where you are getting your nails done! Needless to say I am cutting ties with this place for good. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for years and I have finally given up.

I had an appointment and when I walked in the guy/​owner showed me to the colors and then the pedicure station. However, like Jan P. said, I was not impressed by having to sit with my feet soaking in water for 18 minutes until someone was free to help me. My gf was getting her nails done so she had her back to me and could not see that I was not being attended to or she would have told them in Vietnamese that that was not cool.
The lady working on me was in her 50’s perhaps. She does not give a good massage and did not exfoliate my feet enough. She looks bored. The hot towel was nice but that’s about the only thing I liked.
I had to tell her 3 times how I wanted my toes painted. I picked 2 glittery colors and wanted each of my big toes to have one of the colors and the little toes to have the opposite color. She asked the other nail tech and she still didn’t get it. Then, her next appointment walks in. All of a sudden she is in a rush. I dont mind if someone paints my nails quickly, but if so, then do a good job! Instead she paints all over my skin and then wipes the paint with her finger. She rushes with the top coat and I have to ask her to use the paint brush to remove the polish from my skin. Then as she is putting my flip flop on a piece of tissue attaches to my toe. She attempts to take it off with a nail clipper and when she finally succeeds she merely paints over the dip she made and sends me on my way.
I can’t believe I tipped her. Upon closer review I notice now that she missed parts of my nail ;(and the color is already chipping…
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

notice some mix review about Classy Nails on Bascom Ave. Campbell. I use to go there but, whenever I am there they speak to each other in Vietnamese language. owner watch what he like. it is not for customers. only 2 girls that are very nice. one was so unfriendly, given me a dirty looks, when I smiles, trying to start up a friendly conversation she totally ignore me. So I just stop going there and found another place that is much more friendly, place call Pearl Nails. the owner and employee are much more friendly, inter act with their customers, they are also Vietnamese but, they do
not constantly talking to each other. they really focus on you and your needs.

Based on my recent, only experience, Classy Nails deserves four stars. I peeked in and thought that a $ 25 pedicure was slightly steep, but given the location and okay reviews, thought it was worth me not driving in rush hour traffic home. The gals sat me in a pedi chair and soak for some odd ten minutes before someone got started on my feet which left me wondering if I should have driven down the street to a higher rated place. However, once the pedicure started, service lasted well over forty-​five minutes (granted, it was a Monday evening…) and the massage was HEAVENLY. The nail tech spent most of her time on the massage, actually, giving each toe deserved attention. Though she could have cleaned deeper into the sides of the nail beds, she was super gentle and really careful even during the painting process.
The store itself was really clean and the television placed directly in front of the pedi chairs (which gave a good back kneading). The color selection here sucks — few OPI, mostly China Glaze and an off brand. They do take credit cards and tips accepted via plastic.
Lastly, during my pedi someone came in to get their gel manicure re-​done — apparently it hadn’t set correctly and the color started warping. Pedicures, yes! Manicures, maybe not.

I went to at least 5 nail salons before going to this one. I wanted to find a good place for a pedicure.
Its clean, all the girls are good. I don’t have to ask for the same person each time because they all consistently do the same quality work. They are all friendly and I hardly have any wait time, even when I walk in. They even stayed late for me on a Sunday near closing time! On top of all that, the price is good for all of the above, $ 25.00. They also take credit cards!
I recommend them all the time!
