Carpet One of Silicon Valley

5 is the highest I can give but would be happy to give higher. We had been indecisive for years about replacing our 24 year old Pergo laminate. I took the plunge and called 3 places to come out with samples and to measure for engineered hardwood. Carpet One pricing was on the low of the middle side, but I went with customer service. Flavio Rivas was at my door with samples and measured before I hung up the phone. He came back the next day when he said he would and brought some more samples and left them at the house for my family to look at. Two other places would not leave the samples. Order was placed and date picked then Michael Terry showed up on time and was friendly, courteous and tolerated our loving beagle who jumped in his van more than once looking for french fries and any leftover lunch. Michael was clean neat, detailed and never left any packaging or scrapes around, we had 500 square ft installed. He did an amazing job and had it all done while my husband was out of the country so he came home to a pleasant surprise. Beyond happy and I will be singing the praises and passing on the business cards for a long time to my friends.

The staff of Carpet One of Silicon Valley is outstanding! I called on a Monday looking for new carpet in my living room. On Tuesday they measured and showed me samples. On Wednesday they found a piece of carpet in the warehouse the right color. On Friday the owner shows up, pulls the old carpet and installs the new carpet. In less than a week my problem was solved. Beautiful new carpet in my living room. I can’t say how happy I am. Customer service is number one with this team.

The team at carpet one were very helpful in getting my new carpet into my house before I moved in. They knew I was on a tight schedule and made sure that though the carpet arrived later than expected that it got in before my move in date. The carpet is so great that my guests have literally rolled on the floor just to feel how soft it is. Thanks guys!

Angelo at Carpet One did an excellent job from helping us pick out the right carpet and, ordering and installing on time and professionally. They are very knowledgable about carpet and installing techniques, very happy with the pad that Angelo recommended, the carpet looks and feels plush. Bonus they gave us a great deal.

Carpet One replaced our hardwood floors. They were our insurance carrier’s preferred service provider. We just had our carpet’s installed by Carpet One in Campbell. Steve Erling did a fantastic job of educating us on carpet types and helping us to find the best carpet for what we were looking for. The installers were fast and friendly and our floors look great and feel amazing.

I was recommended to get my flooring from Carpet One by Marvin Davis construction. I met with Steve, he was extremely friendly and helpful. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but Steve helped me narrow things down. He also sent me home with many samples so I see them at home. Thank you Steve!

Would give them a 0 if I could. We had a flood in our house and I needed them to come out to look at the damage and see what could be done. I spoke to Jeff and he pretty much wrote me off without even looking at the job to assess if it was within their realm of work. He basically declined to provide an assessment rather than try to work with me. They are Premier Service Provide for State Farm — not sure why. At any rate, I called my claim adjustor and informed of the poor experience I had with Jeff and this company. Stay away — if they can’t bother to work with you to at least help you make in informed decision, then I can’t imagine what it would be like working with them on a repair job.

We work with Steve to get carpet for our new house. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The important thing was that he was able to explain all the options and the trade-​offs when in comes to selecting which type of carpet. Everyone showed up on time for the estimate and installation and were very professional. When the work was finished, our house was clean and we love the soft (teddy-​bear like) carpet that we chose. Thank you! We will definitely use them again!

When Home Depot dropped the ball I went to Carpet One. Jeff Tucker and Steve Erling found the vinyl we were looking for and had an even better carpet at comparable pricing. They were up to measure (for free) the next day and installation of the vinyl started with a couple of days. Carpet breezed in right behind it. Awesome installation crew on both materials!
The entire job was done by the time Home Depot expected to get the materials in. Carpet One has excellent access to inventory and found the Amrstrong product we wanted in CA wheras Home Depot was having it sent from FL and couldn’t tell us exactaly when it would get here.
Bottom line; we saved about two weeks of time and a lot of headaches.

From start to finish, I was happy with Carpet One. Steve was very informative about carpets and types of wood flooring, then let me take samples home. He later came and measured and got the estimates to me in just a couple days.
The installers came as scheduled. The four carpet guys were like a whirlwind; my furniture was moved, old carpet and pad removed and new ones installed in a bedroom, hallway and stairs in less than 2 hours. They were followed by Michael, who did the baseboards. Michael also did the floors and did a great job in living room, dining room and kitchen — first class all the way — followed by baseboards and trim. The place looks terrific.
Michael was always on time, friendly (answered all my questions), obviously knew what he was doing, cleaned up every day, and completed the job ahead of schedule.

After a recent water damage back in May 2013 to our kitchen & family room. Steve Erling & Steve Tomasello from Carpet One took over and performed a tremendous and awesome job! Highly recommended to everyone who is seeking reliable and skilled work on your floor covering! Thanks to State Farm & Unilocal for making this experience unforgettable!

Went in to get prices and samples, could not get either

As a 20 year home owner I have had numerous experiences with construction, flooring, repair contractors. Steve and Michael are by far the best I have dealt with.
I had new wood floors installed (by a different contractor) 5 years ago and recently had a water leak which damaged about 80% of my flooring. Steve worked diligently with me to find a match which my wife and I are very happy with.
During the installation process Michael was very professional and detail-​oriented. In the end we wound up with floors and an installation better than the original.
In this particular instance — price wasn’t much of a concern to me as my insurance company covered the entire cost. From looking at the estimate provided I would rate the cost as fair but probably slightly higher than the median — if you were to get multiple bids. That said — you get what you pay for. If you want bare-​bottom low cost installation of poor quality flooring — this place is not for you. Here you will get good quality flooring (across a wide range of offerings) and top-​notch installation.

Steve Erling was very professional, friendly, prompt and clear in explaining the process extremely well. I was unlucky that I had a flood in my house and all the carpeting and flooring in one of the bathrooms had to be replaced. Not only did he find good quality flooring for me, but the speed of which they helped me get my house back in one piece was amazing. I will definitely use Carpet One of Silicon Valley again when I need anymore floor done. I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs. I am extremely happy! Jack R.

Steve Erling and team installed 1,700 sqft of Mirage Engineered hardwood for my home. He was very prompt and responsive to all my needs, and I’m a very difficult customer.
