I have gone there for years and sent numerous people there and everyone has been happy with the quality and the time to complete the job. This truly is a gem where you can take your car for services, get high quality work done at a great price and not get ripped off.

When I called to hear about a tire repair on a 2015 car, Bobby advised me to go to Wheel Works instead. They would be able to do a better job on such a new car. Major kudos!

They are honest, I met Bobby who told me that the only needed brake repair is the front pads and rotors. While Skip GoodYear at Blossom him facing the mall wanted to rip me off by adding more unwanted fixes like «the brake fluid all leaked and your wife cannot leave the shop safely with the car», also «Front calipers are broken» and so on leaving me with a large bill which I refused to fix and do business with them. At Bobby’s place it was smooth and quick and to the point. They deserve every penny I paid them. I got a tip about them from my neighbor as I wasn’t aware of this family owned repair shop.

Found this place on Unilocal while looking for a place to change the oil on my SUV. I was going to go the Jiffy Lube route until I compared prices and reviews. Wow, I am glad I did! Bobby was nice, honest and serviced within the time promised. I will definitely come back for future service — including my wife’s car.

Bobby is an honest and genuine mechanic. I have referred a lot people there and they’re customers for life. I have been taken advantage of by mechanics before and Bobby and his staff are great!

Bobby and his employees are incredible. Excellent service and their services were always quick. I felt comfortable stopping by to see when it would be good to drop my car off vs calling because they are extremely approachable. They are very honest as well. I remember one time I brought in my old car for something that I brought it for a little while back. Bobby was honest with me that it was still under warranty and I didn’t have to pay extra. My first impression of Bobby was an honest and reliable person, and I feel comfortable following his advice.

I moved to California in 1982 and dealt with dealer service, and so-​so independent shops over the years until I finally found Campbell Motor Center. Prices are reasonable, work is promptly and efficiently done and their communication with you when they have your car is top notch. I finally found my mechanic after all of these years and I do not hesitate to recommend Campbell Motor Center when people are looking for a mechanic.

Use to go here when Steve Brown owned it-​Great place with knowledgeable people especially if you own a japanese car in my opinion. If you live in Campbell, these guys have been at it for many years now a lot of people in the area know these folks and great mechanics.

I’ve been taking my cars here for years. Great service, very reasonable charges. Can usually get service even on short notice. These folks have never let me down.

After going through a bunch of bad mechanics I found Bobby at Campbell Automotive Center. He does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it and for the price he quoted. This is a straight-​up honest business with an owner who takes real pride in his craft. He has my business for life. The only problem (for him) is that when he fixes a car it does not come back to him for a long time because he does the work right: I wanted to post this review so my friends will patronize his business. If you want your car fixed right the first time call Bobby!

I can’t even describe the satisfaction i had after picking up my mini and driving it out of the shop with the transmission shifting so smoothly. I brought in my 03 cooper s because my gears were not engaging when engine got hot. Bobby did the diagnostics and found out one of the cylinders was leaking. He recommended replacing it and i have great faith in Bobby so he went on to replace it, making sure all the air was bled out and all this in 2 days of work. I picked it up and he charged me for what most places would charge for 3 hours of labor excluding parts, only at Bobby’s place. I drove off and the shifting was still not as smooth as i expected to be so i brought it in again. He told me that he would not give me the car back unless it was totally working this time around. He kept the car for 4 days, updating me on what he was doing and he changed the same cylinder with a new one plus another cylinder in the transmission and repeated the whole process of taking out air from the cylinders and tested it himself until it was fully functional and smooth. I went to pick up the car, walked up to the counter to pay, he said don’t worry drive it and see how it feels.
You need work done on your car by a real professional that does the job with passion, Bobby is your man. My cars are all going to Bobby from now on no matter if its a Honda Civic or a Ferrari.

I finally found a great mechanic! Bobby is so friendly and I never feel like he’s trying to make an extra buck off of me. I’ll definitely be going here from now on!

Just got the air conditioning in my Rav4 fixed here before moving to Texas and I couldn’t be happier! Not only was it done in a day, and for exactly what I was quoted, but what it cost was HALF what the dealership quoted me. Wish I had found them earlier… now I have to find a good mechanic somewhere in Houston.

It is difficult to find a reliable, and affordable shop, but Unilocal has made it so much easier! :) Thanks to all the Unilocalers who reviewed this shop. I liked what you guys had to say about these guys, so I took my Honda Civic there for 30k service, and other things. VERY impressed.
I had to wait in the shop for the work to be finished (I had no other option), and nobody acted annoyed that I was there (I’ve had some do this!). The waiting area is in the shop itself, so you can see everything they’re doing (always a plus when they don’t mind that).
The dealer wanted to charge me $ 440 just for 30k service. I showed Bobby the dealer’s generic «list» of items done for this service, and he pointed out the ones that wouldn’t be necessary (like coolant service). This won him major points in itself… he turned down money they could have made (even though he knew I didn’t know any better). I told him I might also need brakes, and he said I only need front brakes, not rear. Again, honesty is gold.
So, I got 30k service, transmission fluid change (normally about $ 100), AND front brake pads… and I came out just $ 20 over what the dealer wanted JUST for 30k service. Excellent!
Now, it should be noted that I did bring my own motor oil and tranny fluid for them to use (I bought high-​grade stuff they don’t normally use), and this saved me about $ 80. But that is still way better than I would have done at the dealer. I know who gets my business from now on! :)
Oh, and Bobby even changed their radio to the station I wanted! I mentioned to him that I was trying to win concert tickets from a certain station, and he changed it to that one (same kind of music). Could he have been more awesome?

Trustworthy. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Legitimate.
We all know how difficult it is to find a good shop and no one wants to get (pardon my french) bent over by a dealership — That’s where the Campbell Motor Center comes into play.
I brought my Toyota in for a check engine light and a smog today and Bobby and his shop handled it in the same day. Color me more than ecstatic!
Needless to say — from here on out I’ll be taking my car to CMC for anything that may arise. I suggest you do the same! :)

I love saying that I have «a mechanic». Bobby is one of the best. When Goodyear f***ed up my car and it was making frightening noises, I looked up a mechanic that would be able to take my car on a Saturday. Bobby was there and saved the day. I haven’t brought my car anywhere else ever since.
He is a mechanic you can trust and I will continue to bring my car to him as long as I live in the area.
