I can’t believe people are saying good stuff about the customer service here. The woman behind the counter was a total grouch. Didn’t smile once. Didn’t talk. Nothing. Won’t be back here.

Ok. I read the sandwich reviews and decided it was time to try one. She busted out a brand-new-fresh-off-the-tree avocado and put more than half on my sandwich. Nuff said. Five stars. I am thoroughly satisfied with this.

The sandwich is great, it reminds me of a homemade sandwich, but with a kick. They give you a good amount of meat and ingredients… not to mention the price – It’s always around around $ 3-$ 5…

This liquor store is right by the studio so we’re always coming here for our late night snacks, drinks, and what not. The owner(I presume because he’s always there?) is friendly and he’s always got a smile on his face. Nice guy. Prices seem about the same as the 7 – 11’s in the area. The only downside is the last two times I’ve been in here, it’s got a pretty bad tequila smell going on. like someone broke a bottle. They said nothing’s happened and they’ve tried to clean up but unfortunately, the smell remains. Good thing, you’re in and out pretty quickly.

An old school liquor store right out of the 70s. I think the two people who were working there may have been fooling around a little cause when I walked in the the door rang I thought I saw the lady jump off the guys lap. Heh. Strange odor in the air and it’s a bit dusty looking. Got an Izze soda for about $ 2, so probably run of the mill prices. Nothing too special here but Im sure if you lived in the area it would be a go to.

This family run business is so so friendly and helpful. They’re open late and have saved me in no less than three emergency alcohol related incidents in the last week alone !!! 1) First night in our new house. No kitchen. No glasses. No fridge. No beer… No worries with these guys around the corner. Woot Woot! 2) Mom and Pop Zelaya appeared before we had unboxed the wine. Yikes! 3) Our contractor needed some liquid refreshment of the tequila kind for his crew, so I nipped over here for some miniatures(dont want them chugging a whole bottle during the day while they’re using wood saws) You want to know how nice they are? They card me to make me feel young even though they know I’m thirty bloody nine years old! Hahaha.

«Ima go to Tish’s»…I live around the corner from this place. The owners are very nice to my girlfriend and I, seeing as how we pretty much go there a hundred times a week. Right now I am drinkin a 24oz of Red Dog beer. I got it there, and as I sip it I realized its the only place around here that sells it consistently. The owners usually seem to say something funny which is a plus. Family owned, better to support than lame 7 – 11. Supposed to have pretty good sandwiches too. The woman who is often there(tish) randomly gives out tasty eggrolls from time to time too. Also a plus. Ya mon.

Typical looking liqour store: a bit unorganized, a bit dirty, outdated front, a bit dusty. But honestly they have a decent selection and the people have always been pretty nice. I gotten some champagne here, wine etc Prices are pretty standard for going to a liqour store. Haven’t tried the deli part so can’t speak for that.
