I have been originating mortgage loans since 1998 and have a solid track record of closing loans on time. Because I have underwriting background and strong financial background, I can serve a wide range of clients from those with easy documentation to those who are self-​employed with complicated tax returns. I also service a large number of international borrowers with different types of immigration status. I hold a high ethical standards and always believe in doing what is best for my clients. Being a first generation immigrant from Japan, I can relate to people who are transitioning from being a foreigner to being a new immigrant in America seeking to realize the American dream of homeownership. Founding members of Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Silicon Valley Chapter, Board of Director of California Association of Mortgage Professionals Silicon Valley Chapter since 2007; she currently holds a seat on the state board of directors.

I was referred to Atsuko by my realtor — from here on it was just smooth sailing. We met for an initial consultation where Atsuko took time to walk me through the process and critical milestones. She also asked alot of questions to have a better understanding of my finances. At the end of the discussion, she gave me a list of paperwork to provide to her and within a week, she got me pre-​approved.
The last 3 months, I have been house hunting and put in several offers and Atsuko always came true with the paperwork. Her turnaround time-​frame is just fantastic. About a month ago, I finally found my home and Atsuko worked tirelessly to get me funded — she was always pro-​active, wonderful follow-​through, thorough paperwork and strategic; constantly thinking ahead and anticipating road bumps, ensuring a smooth process.
My funding process was extremely short and smooth .I was always kept updated with the going ons. Where should I start?
For the past year, I was looking at purchasing a home in the San Jose area. Since I will be a first time home buyer, my Realtor, Bill Schurkamp, suggested me to consider Atsuko Yube as my third party lender among all the banks. At first, I was suspicious because I thought I would do better going directly to a bank. Looking back at the decision, I am very glad that I chose to have her in my life.
I placed a house offer in late May 2012 and became a first time home buyer in late June 2012 for a total of about 4 weeks. This was only possible through the wonderful work of Atsuko Yube working alongside with my Realtor, Bill Schurkamp. Buying a home was a stressful and rewarding process. However, the stress decreased overtime thanks to the detail, time, commitment of Atsuko Yube.
Atsuko isn’t a «hands off» person — she works with you to ensure a smooth process. Atsuko will ask a lot of questions, ask a lot of documentation, and ask for your time. Why? Atsuko wants to have YOU avoid working directly with the bank. In addition, Atsuko looks at all the banks and gives you multiple options. For example, I got an interest rate that was less than 4% and Atsuko explained the pros and cons of locking such rate. Just imagine Atsuko as being your true advocate who knows what is best for you, your home, and your future.
My only criticism about Atsuko is that it might take a few phone calls until you are used to her accent. Nevertheless, nothing will ever outbeat her customer service, advocacy, and her time to ensure your needs are met.
I HIGHLY recommend Atsuko Yube to all my friends, family, and co-​workers.

Atsuko shops around many companies and banks, so she offers the best rate available on the market everytime. Her rate is always better than the big banks of course. However, she is not only that. We just had an amazing refinance experience with her.
After submitting all the paperwork to her, we locked a rate last month. Then, the market rate came down about 0.2%. Usually you cannot do anything about it, right? But, what Atsuko did was truly amazing… She re-​negotiated with the bank for a lower rate, and she got it! And, She did it voluntarily, so we didn’t even know that she did such an extra effort for us… She is a true customer-​first broker. I recommend her to anybody who wants superb mortgage service!
