All Rain Gutter Cleaning

After a solid week of rain, it was apparent we needed the gutters cleaned. I put out calls to 10 companies and contacted another few on Angie’s List. I didn’t have much hope given how busy a season they’re having. But John called back within an hour, and he came out for a quote and cleaning before the next rain. (Only two other companies responded thereafter!) John gave us a good quote and was thorough and friendly. We will definitely call him for regular service in the future.

I live in Willow Glen and had both my house and detached garage gutters cleaned. Two downspouts unplugged and no debris left behind. He got me done before the storm at a reasonable price. Real satisfied.

Today was my lucky day! I spotted John and his charming assistant working at my neighbor’s home. I was desperate to have my gutters cleaned, and they were able to fit me into their schedule. Not only did they clean my gutters and clean up, but they also hammered in my lose gutters at no extra charge. John’s rates are reasonable and his customer service excellent. I definitely plan to use John’s service again and highly recommend him to others.

A great professional job. Called John after finding him on Unilocal.I’m not sure if the previous owner ever had the gutters cleaned but John dug in and got it done. In less then two hours he was in and out with a smile on his face even though job was bigger then he thought. He didn’t try to upsell or change his bid and was a class act. Bringing him back next year.

Great job, cleaned our roof not only of the leaves left from last fall but swept the whole roof! All the gutters cleaned of several years worth of debris, partly because we had gutter covers that turned out to be useless, and everything cleaned up and hauled away. Couldn’t be happier, and now we’re all ready for El Nino.

John (owner) cleaned the filthy gutters on my two-​story home yesterday. The top gutters were never cleaned since I bought the home. He took pictures of the dirt and debris that were inside the gutters and emailed them to me. I really appreciated this photo service and which were not offered by other cleaning companies («A picture is worth a thousand words»).
John worked very hard for over two hours cleaning my gutters. I would not hesitate to give him my highest recommendation.

I love the fact that John provides photos of the before and after state of your gutter system. It is hard to fathom what collects in your gutter and the photos really drive that fact home. He is insured, reasonably priced and reliable. You cant go wrong hiring John to take good care of business. Good job John!

Every year I dread cleaning out the gutters, and when I can’t put it off any more, I do it but then spend the next three days with a sore back. This year I decided that I’m just too old to be climbing around on the roof to clean out the gutters, so I set out to find someone to do if for me. Enter John from «All Rain Gutter Cleaning.»
I found John here on Unilocal,which is partly why I’m starting to write reviews now, since I use Unilocal so much. Frankly I was nervous going with John because he doesn’t have a contractor’s license, or a web page, or a fancy office. Plus I was worried about having a stranger walking around on the roof, since they could fall off and get seriously injured. However, there aren’t many options for this kind of work, and the only licensed company that I could find that did this was booked up for two weeks. I did wait until 2 days before our first rain was supposed to hit (which it did), but hey, nobody’s perfect. So I figured I would at least call John and see how things went.
I called and left a message, and within about 2 hours I got a call back from John. He was bouncing from job to job that afternoon, but he offered to stop by at the end of the day. Turns out he was able to come early, which was great for me. John does not have a lot of fancy stuff, but he has a truck, ladders, and all the equipment he needs to clean a roof or gutters. In no time he was up on the roof, walking around like he lived there, and scoped things out. From the roof of the house, he noticed that the garage hadn’t been cleaned in a few years either (oops!). He came down, wrote me up a quote, and in a very friendly way said he would appreciate my business.
John is very down to earth, and I like that. He does not pretend to be something, or someone, that he is not. He is a hard working, thorough, and professional gutter/​roof cleaner. He ran through the process with me, in terms of how he cleans the gutters (e.g., blows out the debris, runs water through the whole system to rinse it out and to flush the down spouts, and then clean up all the debris on the ground), and he let me know that he takes «before» and «after» pictures so I could see the work he did. That was good enough for me.
He was able to come back by noon the next day, and he spent over an hour up on the roof, and the garage. As promised he sent me the pictures, and I’m a little embarrassed by how bad I had let things get on the garage. But the «after» pictures look outstanding. John will now be coming back for the annual task of gutter cleaning, and I’m glad to say my back is very thankful for it.

I called 9 companies for quotes, 4 never returned my call (and neither will I ever call them again). John called me back within a few minutes after I left a voicemail. Scheduled in the inspection for the next day and gave me the quote in person. His quote was at the higher end but the lower quotes were over-​the-​phone quotes. I really don’t like it when I get a quote and then get hit with extra charges later. So I decided to go with John and I am glad I did.
John was able to schedule me in for the next morning, just in time for the impending rain. I wasn’t home but my in-​laws were, and they told me the excellent work and service that John did. Cleaned up a lot of junk from the gutter and then cleaned up all the mess around the house from the cleaning.
After the work he sent me photos of the gutter before the cleaning. Interesting photos. Apparently I was growing weeds inside my gutters. Unfortunately no photos of after as the rain started pouring, but the spouts are working fine now. No more blocked spouts and overflowing gutters.
Very easy to work with, flexible, friendly, and did a great job.

I called them on a weekend and expected them to come out some time over the next week, but John offered to come out right away to help me out. He was very nice, professional and did a great job clearing the roof of debris. Thank you very much. I would definitely hire this company and refer them in the future.

Our HOA hired All Rain to clean both of our buildings. They were very thorough and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. We could get an appointment for the next week and they were very friendly. We will be using them again.

We have a very high gutter and despite husband’s belief that he could walk on our tile roof without incident I convinced him to hire an expert. In comes All Rain. First of all, I liked that when I called, John picked up the phone unlike two others I called who didn’t pick up nor return my call. I asked John to give me a quote over the phone but he said that it’d be best to do an estimate. He showed up a few hours later, gave us a very reasonable estimate and completed the job immediately! He and his team effortlessly scaled my roof and walked on the tile with ease. 30 mins later the troubled gutter was cleaned and my husband was still in tact. THANKS JOHN AND TEAM!

I had John clean the gutters at my dad’s house as I live out of the area. He did a great job on really short notice. Now my 81yr. old dad doesn’t need to get on the roof to do them. :-)
